The honey side has more definition in my opinion. Also some of the products like the Pillow Soft one does have silicones for those that want to avoid it, so just be sure to read the ingredients.

You have convinced me I'm going to try Miss Jessie's hair products. I see these in Wal-Mart and Target have wondered if product will work on my hair. Your hair looks GREAT and I'd say it's a tie both sides look the same with lots of curls. Humidity has a big effect on curly/wavy hair. It's an experimentation on what products to use when the humidity is really high so that hair not so frizzy. When it comes to having hair thinned out I have found that hair stylist were reluctant to do this on me in the past. Nowadays I really don't need to have this done because for whatever reasons my hair has thinned out.

So YEARS ago I would get it thinned out then my hairstylists over the years also didn't want to do that but now, they all do it so I guess it depends? I feel like in the summer I need it otherwise I have too much hair.

I use Curl Talk Mousse for frizz and it’s amazing 😍😍❤️

Thanks!! I am in need of a clean up but I usually ask for long layers all over. I did a trim on my hair myself during lockdown so right now not sure what's going on with my hair lol. I'm not a professional!

Omg I just went and bought a new dryer and diffuser and I feel like I have stepped back in the 80s my curls have never looked so good . Thankyou so much for showing me how to get my curls back. I hated hair salons using diffusers back in the day I would walk out looking like a birds nest . X

I have short curly hair…is one better than the other for SHORT hair…I would like soft, loose, fluffy curls…not tight! TY for any guidance❣️

Ok so I just traded Jelly Soft for Honey curls. I just couldn't deal with the scent ( jelly soft is less strong than pillow soft but I hate the fabric softener smell). Honey curls turned out nice on me, I just would use slightly more product next time. But I'm happy with it the scent us nice and not strong at all.

I don't like to air dry. It takes so long because I have a ton of thick hair and for me, my hair is more frizzy when I air dry. Also, the diffuser allows my curls to curl better.

What is the texture of the honey curls? I currently use multicultural curls because I prefer creamy to jelly.

It's the color of honey and it's not clear so I would say more of a cream texture. I am going to add the Multicultural to my list! They have so many products!

I think both looked about the same, but my question is how do they **feel**? I have closer to straight (but not really) wavy hair & my goal more big, soft waves with some volume, but WITHOUT FRIZZ, STIFFNESS, &/or CRUNCH!! (I know, big bill to fill!). Did either product turn out & then stay soft??

I am the same, HATE crunch and stiffness and both of these products stayed soft! Both felt really good honestly it was hard to decide which I liked best. I think I personally liked the Pillow Soft. Most people think the Honey curls looked a little better. Pillow Soft is also cheaper!

All Miss Jessie’s products smell amazing. I love them all for different reasons.

i love the brand! did wonders for my frizzy and damaged type 2 hair. unfortunately, they do not ship to europe atm, so i have to pay 30 euros for one product

I like the Honey Curls side! Both sides look good however, but I see more definition and volume on the Honey Curls. And you don’t have to chose 1 product from Miss Jessie’s, just use all depending on your mood. I’m very sorry for your loss 😞

I have the Not Your Mother’s Curl Mask and it works really well. All you need is to put in on for only 5 minutes!

Hi Diego! My son has my curls as well and he's been using my favorite product (although I'm always making him try others, lol) which is Mixed Chicks Leave-In. There really is no smell to that product and it works great! It's around $20 and I am able to find it at my local drug store (Rite Aid/CVS). I know what you mean with the smell of Pillow Soft, it's a bit too powdery. I like it but sometimes it's a bit much. For a product that is under $10, the Not Your Mother's Curl Talk Defining Cream works great and has no smell to it. Hope that helps!

Yes honey curls is definitely stickier and thicker, pillow soft has the consistency almost like a lotion it’s super smooth

Hmmm second day for sure but I ruined that I think the way I styled but yea honey curls is really good! It's more money though so if someone wants the cheaper option the Pillow Soft is cheaper.

I love Miss Jessie's Jelly Soft Curls. Have you tried that one? That's my new favorite from that line. Nice definition and doesn't leave your hair crunchy at all. I've tried the Honey Curls and that one is nice, too. And girl...I totally understand the humidity! I live in FL and it's hot, hot, HOT and HUMID right now! LOL
