@dl733 LOL! If you recall Christina Faust had Gretchen Polhemus competed together in 1989 and were styled by GuyRex for the pageant. It is always a hit or miss when getting a contestant ready for a pageant.

I got to know Christina Faust in the Miss California, USA 1984 pageant (it was both of our first year). She was only 18 but absolutely gorgeous, charismatic, and a truly lovely person inside and out. I was so happy for her that she later went on to win the Miss CA pageant.

💯‼️ Just do not think her hair up ... a GuyRex belief...was suitable for her. Her gown did nothing for her. When I saw her on 20/20 segment, "The Kings of Beauty Queens," she looked fabulous, so I was shocked at her styling at Miss USA. I remembered thinking it was intentional in order to secure Gretchen's win at Miss USA I could not get enough of Guy Rex during their era

Lori Dickerson was not styled correctly at Miss USA. The upswept hair and too much hair were overpowering for someone with such a small frame

GuyRex also didn’t have as much time to groom her as they Michelle and later Miss California-USA winners. I felt that way about Michelle’s hair. She has a beautiful face, but you really couldn’t see it with all of the hair. It should have been pulled up more like Courtney or Christy’s hair.
