And that scientists and doctors have no clue where that bloodline actually comes from, also they actually referred to negative blood as alien. Ok then.

People from Madrid that I worked with told me that I wouldn't enjoy my trip to the Basque Country as the people are unfriendly. It was the complete opposite. Some people in certain areas of Spain obviously have pre-conceptions of Basque people based on conjecture/hearsay which just aren't true. The same thing exists here in the UK, between English/Scottish/Welsh people and the North/South divide etc.

That's just a lie. There's absolutely nothing unfriendly about us. I can accept we're a little less open at the beginning than people from the south, for example, but just that. In fact, I'd dare say we're the most hospitable people in the whole of Spain if you get to know us a little. As for Madrid, for God's sake, nobody's really from Madrid, are they? . Lol.

Many Spaniards still don't know what the difference between pintxos and tapas is. There are two main differences: pintxos are always paid for whereas tapas usually aren't. The other is that a pintxo can get to be a masterpiece in terms of gastronony. A tapa is just some food on a slice of bread.

I thought I'd share this pleasant encounter I had with a Basque family from Spain, because why not. I was in charge of a turnstile at Disneyland Paris, and as that family came up I heard the kids speak Spanish, so I spoke to them in Spanish. While the kids and mother were going through, the father looked somewhat annoyed. As he finally walked through, he said, "eskerrik asko," to which I quickly and very naturally replied, "ez horregatik." He stopped dead in his tracks, turned around, and extended his hand to shake mine. He looked both surprised and elated. Moments after he left, I saw him catch up to his wife. He told her something, then they both turned to look at me, so I waved and shouted "agur!" They waved back, with a huge smile on their faces. It made my day. Indians take me for one of their fellowmen, so I'm pretty sure the father didn't expect me to know any Euskara. I don't know why he looked annoyed and said thank you in Basque, but I suspect that there's a link there.

9:00 Just in case, being independentist doesn't mean you supported ETA. Most of those who want independence (myself included) are agains't the violence of ETA. I don't think you wanted to imply that in the video but some migh misundertand things this way. Regarding this topic that we are all terrorist, I have heard from a lot of people that some folks around Spain and even Catalonia (don't want to offend fellow catalan independentists) think most of us carry guns in the streets. I've never heard this first hand, so take it with a grain of salt, but I've been told about it by many people of diverse age and condition. In any case, no, we don't (nor can legally) carry guns. Only some of the policeman carry them. In any case, the ETA thing is quite complex and controversial, and there are lots of political interests (from all sides) involved in it, so I would suggest to avoid it if possible as it usually leads to very heated discussions in the comments which led to nowhere.

Some of them do consider themselves a v special people and superior to others and yet have a sceptical attitude to themselves. They've accepted me from day one. @@dieguzki that’s a cute interpretation of an individual trying to redirect from their own desire to appropriate the cultures of others, while in fact pushing a view that science stops at the borders of the United States and European countries. I especially like that you assume that others do not speak multiple languages. Focusing on my supposed inability to speak another language will not negate what I stated before. Still nothing to cite? Well I guess there must not exist any legitimate research as you claim. Thank you for proving my point. Claiming that which is not, will never make it so. I guess now we know why you deflect and distract rather than respond to what is requested. I’m sure your next response will only get angrier and morph into name calling. It’s always the same with pseudoscience pushers. :)

Y dna Haplogroup R1b has been recovered from several pre - neolithic dna samples from Spain, Italy, to Romania . Basques men carry the highest proportion of this haplogroup anywhere on planet Earth, meaning Basques descend directly from these hunter-gatherers. So you can take all of these other abstract theories and conclusions reached about Basque origins, however compelling they may seem, and quash them.
