Mirror Photo Booth - Build A DIY Mirror Photobooth

Ойын-сауық

Building an affordable mirror photo booth for your business has never been easier! Simply combine a two way mirror, IR touch frame, and television with our easy instructions.
We sized the glass to the same size as our 75" touch frame to keep the project super simple. To make things easy for you, we posted all the parts we purchased off Amazon (affiliate links below).

Here's an Amazon link to the IR touch frame we recommend:
75" IR Touch: amzn.to/2TpgIKR
Similar to a regular two way mirror, a photo booth mirror is actually 3x as transparent, allowing vivid color to pass through. The overall size of the mirror is built for a 75" diagonal IR touch frame, which plugs in via USB into any PC.
Now, I'm going to take you through the features I’m really excited about:
#1: Tempering the glass makes it ten times stronger which makes it way less likely to break when transporting it. That's especially great if you're moving the photo booth around a lot, because if you show up with a broken photo booth, it could ruin your reputation and spoil the entire event.
#2: Sandblasted edges for backlighting: Allows you to add lighting directly into the booth.
If you're wondering how to order tempered sandblasted photo booth glass, I've posted a chart of our photo booth mirror pricing for your convenience at:
www.twowaymirrors.com/mirror-...
Prices range from $250 for a 32" diagonal to $999 for the 75" as seen in this video.
#3. The Light chasing LEDs behind it gives it a "wow" effect that screams "play with me!" The light strip controller syncs to music with a microphone and can be fully controlled and programmed with your cell phone.
LED Lights: amzn.to/32F1rdm
Here’s the extra equipment that comes in handy:
#3: A high power lithium power pack so the TV can be moved around your event, and doesn’t need to be plugged into the wall.
amzn.to/2T8A4Fk
#4: A mini lithium battery pack for the 12V LEDs.
amzn.to/2uFgFlO
#5: An extra long 2-prong TV cord just in case you happen to be near an outlet. Gaffer tape to help keep it attached to the carpet and to prevent tripping.
amzn.to/2vjGto6
#6. Extra 12V LED light strip with white LED’s in case your clients prefers it to the color chasing effect.
amzn.to/2uFgFlO
#7: A decorative picture frame which fits over the glass and overlay.
Here’s a few more tips for you:
Place any TV behind it, ranging from 32 to 65". I prefer TVs over monitors because they're cheap and can be turned on and off with a remote. Simply place your camera behind the glass on it's own tripod.

In this video what size tv was used and do you have a video that shows what it looks like / what goes behind the booth? Hope this isn’t a silly question? My husband and I want to build our own. Thank you.

It's not a silly question at all! We used a 43" Samsung TV. You can use any TV you would like! As long as the glass is larger than the TV.

Does ir go in front of glass? If you have a 75 in frame how do you put the decor frame?

  • @twowaymirrors

Yes the IR Touch goes in front of the glass. You will need to create a custom wooden frame, route out an area for the IR touch (so it will be hidden completely behind the frame) and then put the glass behind that.

Waw amazing videos, I had 3 questions about the frame and the ir. Like I understand, the IR must be put in the front of the glasses? But in the final result I don't see the IR frame or am I missing something. 2/ The glass and the IR touch screen have the samed dimension (75'') it this correct. Should the IR touch screen not it inside the mirror ? 3/ The led are glued on the TV (ok for left right and botom) but how is it done on the top of the miror since there is no TV side ? Thanks for the answers ;)

Hi! 1) Yes the IR must go in front of the glass. You can put a frame around it to hide it. 2) The IR and glass need to be the same dimensions. It will sit on top of the glass. 3) The LEDs are glued on the back of our glass pane, but you can place them anywhere you would like! Our glass was larger than the TV, so we had it going around the back of the glass.
