MIRROR IMAGES | Wrestling's Opposite Gimmicks!
There’s a saying that every action must have an equal and opposite reaction. And the world of wrestling is pretty similar in that respect too as it happens. Why is this? Well, if you look hard enough, you’re probably going to find a mirror version of any of the major gimmicks out there somewhere. But what are the biggest examples of such a phenomenon? Well, that’s exactly what we’re going to be looking at today. So, join us now as we take a deep dive into Mirror Images: Wrestling’s Opposite Gimmicks.

I would add Ric Flair with two opposites. The first one is Dusty Rhodes. While Flair lived a lavish, luxurious lifestyle, Rhodes was a blue-collar, hard-working, common man. The second is Ricky Steamboat. While Flair was a playboy surrounded by beautiful women, Steamboat was a family man with a wife and son. And you could say that CM Punk is the opposite of The Sandman. While CM Punk lives a straight-edge lifestyle in which he abstains from alcohol, tobacco, and drugs, Sandman's gimmick involves smoking cigarettes and drinking beer.

Should have had Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns. Both come from wrestling families, but Reigns was brought to the top and given all the chances due to it, while Rhodes was dragged to the bottom because of it and got stuck with stardust until leaving for the indies to reinvent himself.

8:00 "just a few weeks later" you forgot to mention that Bret also worked a bunch of matches during those weeks which for sure exacerbated his concussion symptoms. Was Goldberg sometimes reckless in the ring? Yeah. Should Bret have worked several matches after getting severely concussed? No.

an honorable mention would be the patriotic all American, Hulk Hogan and the USSR communist sympathizer, Nikoli Volkoff. while Hogan supported the values of the American Dream, Volkoff was aligned to Vladimir Lenin's Bolshevik ideology. one roots for D.C the other supports Moscow. a similar thing is said between Hulk Hogan and the Iron Shiek. while Hogan supports freedom, Iron Sheik is loyal to the Ayatollah of the Islamic Republic of Iran. i could go on but i think i said enough.
