this was one of my favourite maps back when I first started the game. while literally everyone would play dust 2, I'd play mirage just so I wouldnt be "that guy" but mirage is now the new dust 2 LOL

I got some weird nostalgic flashbacks seeing these cs 1.6 textures again. I miss that music box thing in Italy near the hostages :( And spying on Ts from the CT van in Assault :( And falling through the weird black ice in Survivor :(

the graffiti to commemorate coldzera's jumping double noscope is awesome, i love little touches like that. really shows that the people who are updating the maps really do love the game they're doing work for.

I used to play 1.6, and I do play Blackout with a friend and rate it highly, but I mostly play TF2 these days.

With all the work they've put into keeping it up to date, I wonder if they're ever going to bother giving it a retexturing like they've been doing with their other maps. Train and Nuke desperately needed it since they were mostly unchanged since Source, and Dust and Inferno were available at launch and got almost no visual changes. But all this map is still missing is a resolution bump.

Something I love about cs and valve, they add little things to maps whenever extreme things happen in pro, they also add little things which make maps more balance and gives more options, this is why cs is one of/ the best FPS competitive games, other games (fortnite and league) their company actually ‘loves’ their pros but fuck up with casual vs pro, valve knows there aren’t anymore casual, well, to a point where they just update maps for the pros.

hmm, tbh, buying WinRAR is waste of money, you can still use every features even if it says "your license has expired"

you know.. I have not played CS since 1.6 many-many years ago.. but I still watch your videos and enjoy then. Your voice, deliverance and intelligence make them soothing and very interesting to watch.
