All credit to whoever got him for this demo. As soon as I saw they made a MKII that's the only demo I wanted to see. Side note he has a new single out that's fantastic

@@icecreamforcrowhurst A lot of people in their 20s & 30s have been inspired by the math rock playing in his band Minus the Bear. His earlier band Botch was hugely influential as well for metalcore. Even today guitarists are strongly influenced by his approach in that band from the 90s.

Maaan I listened to them so0o much back in '08, and then a decade later in summer '18 I finally went to their show by myself and was absolutely engulfed by the nostalgia... I pulled out my phone, but only recorded about 10 seconds before I realized I was wasting a truly precious moment, and put it right back in my pocket. Fantastic video! (Although I think I'm just gonna stick with my little MXR Carbon Copy for now, lol)

Well this gives an answer to the rumors that have been swirling around the last couple of months of a MKII. Sounds great!

I am here for any new music this man plays guitar on. I love the sound he is able to achieve with this pedal, and I’m excited to hear they have a new model coming out! Thank you David, Line 6, and Reverb!

This man is an icon. Got to stand right in front of him twice having my mind blown with his pedal work and creativity.

Dave is the unspoken master of this pedal. Seeing him play the DL4 live over the years was one of the most inspiring things I've ever seen or heard. To me it was like being a teenager in the 60's seeing Hendrix use a wah pedal for the first time, I've never heard a guitarist evoke these sounds but him, in conjunction with his unique playing style and riffs of course. As a guitarist I value these real-world reviews with icons who used the gear

Love Bosch and Minus the bear!!! This new riff reminds me of a group called the mercury program. Into it!!

One of the coolest things I’ve ever witnessed was MTB in concert and the band stopped playing, just to allow the loop pedals to continuing playing without them. As someone who has messed with loopers for a long time, this is not easy for timing purposes alone

My god I get goosebumps when I hear him play, I can’t tell you how much this guy inspired me to play

Finally someone has added an XLR input. My previous choices were a Boss RC that only had a 1/4 mic input or the Jamman I found used that crapped out. I was excited just to see a new DL4, the XLR input has me scrambling to sell old pedals so i can get it

Our band did a cover set of Minus the Bear on New Years Eve like 4 years ago and I had the super fun task of figuring out and learning all of Dave's parts. It was fun as fuck! I had to have 2 DL 4's and two loopers in my chain and it was soooo fun. Such a clutch move with the SD card so you can save your loops on the DL4 instead of having to save them on a looper down the line in your chain.

They got the ultimate DL4 guy to demo it on the announcement day 🤘 super awesome. Now I'm gonna need to save my pennies to get one

What is DK's signal chain? Is it bottom right DL4 MkII into the bottom left DL4 MkII then into the old DL4 at the top right? Are the 3 distortion pedals at the beginning?

Can the MIDI sync the loops to other gear? Like the TC ditto x4? Or hologram microcosm?

I’m trying to use the MK2 tap tempo without the time stretch effect whenever I’m changing the tempo. Like it was in the old DL4. Please help!
