It definitely does work, but it does take time and patience. There are other things that helped me accelerate my growth such as dermarolling and a good skin routine. During the time of this video, I had not used any of those extra methods and the progress was slower.

At first I thought you went from nothing to the beard you have now in 3 months then I saw your first video lol. I’m in month 2 now and it’s hard to be patient but Incan see progress so that keeps me going! Are you going to make videos for months 4-6?

Yo keep strong beard brother! Month 4 is where it really starts to pop off. The first 3 months are like the great filtering of those who don't have the drive to go all the way. I am going to upload Month 4 tonight! So stay tuned.

Thanks for sharing. I wonder about the Heart Palpitations, how were they, how long did they last and did you take minoxidil as tablets or as the drops?

They were kinda unnerving initially but now I don't feel much of anything. They lasted about two months. I only take topical foam Minoxidil.

Most definitely, you might just need a few months

my velus hairs haven't turned terminal and its been 5-6 months of on minox. I have a lot of baby hair but you can't see it unless you look very hard. Wondering what your thoughts are.

I would keep it going, the average length of the journey is 1-2 years. I am going on my 3rd year now. I would also consider adding dermarolling and oil to your regiment that really helped as well. Also check your diet to make sure that you are taking in enough collagen or biotin.

Hey man! Did you ever experience any chest pains with minoxidil foam version? Or know any stories about it. That’s currently I’m situation just don’t know exactly if it’s due to minoxidil.

bro do you normally trim your beard? if so when? is it once a month and whats the length of the beard trimmer setting like 3mm or 4mm , or do you grow it out,buti think trimming helps with better absorbtion rather than minox going to ur facial hair

I trim to 4mm to 9mm, I used to shave but it hurt the gains so I swapped to trimming and can rock the heavy stubble look now. Stay Strong Beard Brother

Jesus man I am sorry to hear that. I got a lot of side effects early on and they started to all go away by the 2-3 month mark. The tiredness is pretty brutal that one is less severe but does come and go

Bro can you answer this question… so do I shave the few lower chin hairs I have genetically before any gains from the minoxidil or do I just let it grow along with the vellus hairs from minox or what do I do bc no one seems to talk about that?

You are right, not many people talk about that. I personally found better results when I trimmed and did not shave. That being said, there are some that say that shaving is like an extra dermaplaning for your face which encourages growth. To me, I feel the shaving could damage incoming vellus hairs which stifles growth. Mine is anecdotal evidence though so take with a grain of salt.

From what I have heard, the beard growing kits work mostly from the dermarolling process and then moisturizing your skin. If you want faster more guaranteed results I would stick with Minoxidil.

I started using minoxidil on my cheeks and chin. I can only grow a mustache and a little chin hair. It’s been almost a month and I see my head hair seems to shed a bit more than normal. I’m scared but many people have said it will be fine you won’t go bald which is what I’m worried about. No baldness if my family or wife’s. So wondering if you think it’s ok I’m shedding hairs. Not big chunks , but a lot of hairs . Thank you!

Shedding is normal for a few months. It made my hair thin a bit but then it has stabilized for a couple years. I do have balding in my genes and took Finasteride for many years. I stopped taking it before the beard journey, and my hair did not recede any more over the past 2.5 years. Stay Strong Beard Brother

@@polo-lj6pj If I were you I would wait at least until 23-25. You are still young to have a beard. If you are impatient then you can try now, but you might have slower results.

I have one now but it doesn’t Dry my skin as people say it does .. so I don’t know if it is original or not . Looks yellowish and a little thick

That is interesting to hear, the one I have is white foam. The liquid also seems very watery and clear, not sure if you have the right stuff. Or check the expiration date too.

@@DefKiller90 Agreed, my skin does not get dry and flakey as it once did. I almost see it as the meds are working. Because any area that I did not put on Minoxidil regularly will get flakey and then it will grow new hair.

Do you experience skin irritation such as redness and itching while using minoxidil?

@@monkybeard I started having baby hair that would appear to be a full beard after a month. I’m on week 11 and the gains seem slow, although I have gained some visible hair on the cheeks and side burns, everywhere else is still baby hair.

I take collagen on occasion (just mix with protein shake), my daily vitamins, and exercise regularly. My vice is that I do not get enough sleep usually. If I slept more, I think my beard would look better.

I would use the Minoxidil, let it dry and then moisturize afterwards. If you are using liquid Minoxidil, you may also want to consider going to Foam, I use foam and it is a lot less irritating.

Do I need to massage right after applying minoxidil bro?

I gently massage the minoxidil in after application. Then I put on lotion after the minoxidil dries. This helps prevent dry skin and wrinkles

@@gamebase329I use lotion, personally I use Hemp body lotion. The stack should be washed face, minoxidil, then lotion, then sunblock (if going outdoors) The lotion helps growth if anything from what I have experienced.

Hello Oden, there are some side effects. I experienced dry skin, acne, heart palpatations, and very small hair shedding. Most of these side effects disappeared after the first 2-3 months. Acne stayed but lessened significantly.

@@StaRB0YGaIL Of course, I am happy to answer! If you mean my head hair, I noticed it get thinner for a month, then it came back within a couple months. The hair on my beard goes through waves, it will look fuzzy for a month, then get thin for a month, then come in thicker and fuller after that. I have noticed a very small increase in density of my body hair overall.

What level did you trim the chin on?

Most definitely, I am naturally a hairless guy, that includes male pattern baldness, no eyebrows, little body hair, and no beard. That being said started dermarolling my eyebrows and using Minoxidil there and seems to be working
