Great journey sir! A few questions. 1. DId you stop using Minoxidil after a year and a half ? if so did you lose any of your gains ? 2. Did you notice any hair shedding on your scalp ? If so did it come back when you stopped ?

1) I am still taking Minoxidil, aiming for the 3 year mark. For the last 6 months I have been ramping down my usage, I am now down to 1-2x a week. No losses yet. 2) I noticed some hair shedding early on, but my hairline has not receded much at all in the 3 years even though I do not apply Minoxidil to my scalp directly. Shedding for the beard happens every 6 months and is scary, you feel like you regress but then it comes back fuller. Stay Strong Beard Brother 💪

Hey, thanks for the content! Curious, when you talk about trimming instead of shaving for preservation for vellus hairs. How long / short is considered trimming vs shaving?

I leave at least 4mm when I trim, shaving I would say means going to skin

I use a 4mm guard for trimming, but prior I shaved with a Gillette fusion or a Leaf Razor

@@danielrusso3951 On average a foam cannister lasted me about 1.5 months. So depending on how much you can get each foam cannister, will determine the cost. I probably spent about 350 over 3 years.

I personally use Rogaine brand, and I have it in my description the exact one I order. It sucks that there are fake products out there. I know Rogaine is also on the pricier side, but I wanted to ensure as much success since it is a long game. Stay Strong Beard Brother!

@@SpreadAU I can do a video on the math, but since you brought it up. Each can lasts me 2 months so it comes out to $10 a month. The average journey is 24 months, so you are looking at $240 + 2 years for a beard.

What lotion did you use after the minox ?

I personally use Hemp body lotion. Face lotion often has hyaluronic acid which made my skin freak out

Bro I'm on my 4 week minox and i canse nothing, I don't know is it only me or what 😂 i feel no change and i see people saying that they started seeing result first week

Hello Mohammed, how old are you? Also I get it, it is very discouraging in the beginning. If you look at my photos, there is not much of anything going on in the first month. It wasn't until month 3 that I really saw something change.

@@mohammedkarrouch3158 Hello Mohammed, you are at the right age to use Minoxidil to get a beard. If it is any consolation, my entire extended family really can't grow facial hair, even a moustache is out of reach for us. So I was very skeptical I could grow anything, now I get compliments on the regular about my beard. So stick with it, and I would recommend making a skin care routine that you can stick to. Stay strong, you got this! Take progress pics, it REALLY helps. Even to this day, I look at my beard and think it is insufficient, but looking back I am amazed at how far I have come.

@@monkybeard Yes i can say that your development is amazing bro i ve seen all your videos development and it worth it For me i'am sticking with it right now and after 4 month i id try to give update I only have question When i go to the barber for cutting my hair , should i keep that tiny hair on my face or i can cut it too without a problem I'am sorry if i didn't express it well but i think you understood what i want to say Because when you cut the hair above , that hair on the face look so ugly And thank you so much for sharing and responding ❤️🙏🏼

Yeah I think that should be okay. I apply lotion after the foam dries for my dry skin

Hair loss on top of your head to gain a beard, and it ages you is my biggest worry

Minoxidil did not cause any hair loss for me, if anything it retained my hair. As for aging, I was able to mitigate it with good hygiene and moisturizing.

Am in one month of menoxidil and no result only pimples😢
