    Minor hockey in NJ ( house league ) Is a few hundred dollars. A session (12 weeks ) Travel hockey costs depending on tier can range from 4k. ( Tier 2 ) to 8/10k AAA tier 1. My 3 kids played all sports ( house league level is called township here in NJ very cheap and affordable.

    Thanks, wish it were as cheap here. House League Registration in Ottawa averages $824 plus $150 to $250 team fee just for house league. Some associations also charge HST 13% on top of that. Liam and I will still argue that team fees don't count. I say they do, because they are not optional. Regardless a kid cannot play for under $1000. But this ain't over :) A case of Beer is at stake. Regardless not cheap for the average working class family.

    @@FlatbedTonightTV It’s unreal I’ve been coaching youth hockey for years in the US that’s how I met Liam, it’s ridiculously expensive. I was coaching as I had two kids playing. But for the average Family time and Monetarily commitment is at an all time high. Don’t get me started on all the extras as well. I can write a book on this and it’s only getting worse
