I noticed “diet” was not discussed. 🧐 Staying hydrated can really make your skin glow! Staying away from greasy fried and fatty foods is a good idea. Choosing healthier food options, such as fruits and vegetables, can also help keep skin clear and promote healthy skin. For example, strawberries, citrus fruits, and healthy fats from fish can promote collagen production!😉Getting enough sleep is important to for “rest and recovery”. Paired with a good skin care routine and the wonderful knowledge shared in this video will definitely increase the health of your skin!🥰🫶

I recently started getting a bit more serious with my skincare (turning 30 next year) and I'm very grateful for direct, honest recommendations like this. The skincare industry is absolutely rife with scam artists so it's hard to know what to believe at times. Biggest game changers for me have definitely been sunscreen, retinol, BHA exfoliant, and nighttime moisturizer. My skin has seen MASSIVE improvements just from learning the right chemicals to use.

I felt this!! It’s going to be a lot of research in the beginning. I’m relatively new to skincare as well and I recommend learning how to read the ingredients of products. Learn the most common good and harmful chemicals (it can also help with decision making). Also the basic and must have products for skincare is cleanser, moisturizer and sunscreen. (Cerave hydrating cleanser and moisturizer is what I personally use and it works great). As for sunscreen.. it’s the one of the most hardest to find a good one

I actually came here after watching your video "skincare you don't need" (which was totally awesome too). I had a laugh when you said that you liked the video so much but nobody watched it. Keep on going guys, you are so cool, I'm definitely subscribing !

I have always heard mixed reviews of gua sha and I understand why, because sometimes it is claimed to do particular things that it can't, and there aren't a lot of scientific studies on it. But when you spoke of microneedling helping to build collagen by healing from damaging, it sparked my thought that maybe gua sha could do something similar? Any thoughts on this idea? Love the scientific background of all this as I am a nurse, so scientific explanations help to make me more confident in anything. Thank you for sharing!

Nice simple routine options at the end. I appreciated that. I have just gotten into the idea of skin care at 39 yr old (3 months) and I am noticing improvment, though I wish it was faster. But, hearing you name the ingredents I've been trying... I'm guess I'm on the right path. Retinoid, vitamin C, and Nicin - I just have been using different brands (Inky List, The Ordinary mostly, with a little Vichy)

I’ve always had oily skin and large pores in my nose, and my daily routine consists of a mix of Bioderma and La Roche-Posay products. I wash my face daily with La Roche-Posay’s Effaclar Foaming Gel. Two days a week (maybe a Wednesday and Saturday) I exchange it with Bioderma’s Sébium Gel Gommant which exfoliates my skin. Then before putting on my usual cream, I apply Bioderma’s Sébium Pore Refiner (this changed the game for me, is a must now). After that, I apply Bioderma’s Sébium Hydra which is a really lightweight cream and leaves a matte finish. I finally finish with the Anthelios UVMUNE 400 50+ SPF from La Roche-Posay, again a product that doesn’t feels heavy and leaves a matte finish. At night I just wash everything off with the Effaclar again and put on Kiehls’ Midnight Recovery Omega-Rich Cloud Cream; also every now and then I use their Rare Earth Deep Pore Cleansing Masque.

Peach & Lily host different brands on their website. One if them is eco your skin. They have a Meso Ampoule that when you apply it, actually helps with large pores & any scarring you have. Kind of expensive at $130, but look for sales when they have them or ask for it for Christmas. It does come in a big bottle that should last for a year at least, so it’s worth it. The reviews on it are very positive. I refer you to the videos by them on KZread. In particular, Alicia answers skincare questions and the 2019 winners for skincare.

I think I hold the world record for pores. My face is a huge pore, literally. There is no more than 0.01 mm of actual skin between each pore, I dont even know how I still have a face my skin is literally and I mean L.I.T.E.R.A.L.L.Y just pores, and no real skin. I cant even imagine what life would be like without them! I dont ever leave my home ever ever ever, I dont go stay at my uncles whenever my family visit I stay home, whenever they go for food I stay home, I don't even try and look for a job because I dont want to be around people, I just sit in my room all day everyday watching these videos and stressing out every second of the day, I'm only 25 and I have about 10% grey hairs on my thinning, receding hair! My whole life is just stress anxiety depression!! It hurts to look in mirrors!! I avoid certain mirrors in my home to the point I'll turn my head the opposite way or look down and close my eyes so I dont get a glimpse of the real me, that would ultimately send me to my bed crying (btw did I mention I'm a 25 year old man, yeah this stuff has me crying like a baby!!!) I just dont understand how nothing can shrink pores its 2021 and I have to continue to live like this, I'm being 100% serious right now in saying I dont want to live like this much longer. Its worrying knowing I could quiet easily end it all probably this year as I've suffered from these problems since atleast 16. I also suffer from extreme mental health and paranoia probably comes from my skin condition. I have no money to do anything about it, but I dont have any motivation because I know theres nothing out there that will ultimately cure my condition, so I dont like to get my Hope's up. Basically I live in a dark place (literally lights out curtains closed) and my mind is in a dark place and only ever gets worse which is hard to believe as I'm struggling more than imaginable right now. It's highly likely no one will read this, and if you do a reply is not necessary, I just felt like I had to write this and get it out of my mind for a moment

I also have more "congested" pores, likely white heads on my nose. Do you have any alternative recommendations to this routine that would be more hydrating and work well to treat irritation and redness as well? Thanks! :)

I wouldn't physically get rid of them by extractions just use some epiduo gel and give yourself a 3 days max and you should no longer have blackheads. It worked for me and I'm trying to spread it as much as I can but hopefully everyone else sees results. It's the real deal, benzol peroxide and adapelene are the active ingredients and its medical grade stuff not all this branded crap. I really hope you see this comment and give it a try
