You do get points for traffic citations in the US, depending on what it is. And for traffic violations there are brackets for different speeds or violations and the police can choose how much the ticket is within the bracket. Last time I got pulled over the cop felt bad and wrote a ticket for going 5mph over the speed limit even though I'd been driving 12mph over.

The problem with coming to the us is it’s so different for every area because of the size of the country and federal, state and local laws. You can get points for certain citations. And it can be officer discretion. Went thru a yellow light apparently. But officer gave me an impeding traffic citation to keep my license clear. But a yellow light, lol after I got a dash cam. Best purchase I’ve made. Also there are traffic cams in certain areas.

To clarify, tracking an active connection through a VPN is difficult, but not impossible. As far as finding out what you did once you're done, if traces were dumped immediately by the vpn host then you can't be retroactively found out unless your browser is keeping tabs, but certain VPN and browser companies have gotten in trouble for keeping traffic data already. You never know what's kept or not by these companies so not really worth the risk for many things. Also with Randy admitting what he's done in dubai, if Dubai wanted to be a stinker about it, he could get barred entry to Dubai next time since he's admitted to the crime. 👀
