at least you were able to share with us this tape. there is ALWAYS a workaround.:) hope the miniature railways get to open soon:)

I went to March on a Sunday last Summer with the sole purpose of visiting the DWLR. I could not find the railway and was informed by locals that the railway no longer existed and had been closed down for some years.

Hi Bruce. I understand that it did close for a time,but it's up and running again...I must visit again when we can....It is hard to find,we had a problem as well.

Yes we made it Dave,we started in early lockdown,then gave up...Thought I would give it one more go this way.It's ok but not brilliant....Good job we had a decent camera in those days.....Your garden looks great Dave.....Best wishes Chris

Ah, you and Rosie are newly-weds I see! Dawn and I were married in 1967, mind you I didn't get her interested in railways until 1969 when I took her on The Festiniog Railway (1961 when I first went) fortunately she fell in love with railways......nuff said!!

We really have Peter,we have been riding these railways since our honeymoon 48 years ago,we still have around 110 to go that's covered the whole lot in GB,plus a few private ones, but we are working on them as well.....Could have done without this year off grr!....Never mind,will give it a big push when they lift the social distancing rules......Regards Chris

Yes, it is Graham! It did close for a time but I heard last year that it had opened again,Must make another visit when we can.....Hope your keeping well? ....Best wishes Chris

Hi guys. Yes we are still here. After being closed for a few years around 3 or 4 years ago. And since then the railway has been very popular and very busy. We now open longer. To cope. Sadly have took a knock this year like everyone else but hope to come back stronger!
