Part - 1: i bought this jet, the F22, F16 and f18 they all perform REAL WELL, love them,... for the ppl who are new and want to use the gyro need to understand that this gyro is a semi -automatic stabilizer, it does not detect speed or pressure(altitude) etc. this means that the gain settings literally and only are to increase or decrease reaction response time, this makes your flight easier and harder at the same time,

My instructions state S1 is the Flight Mode Option (Down is Beginner, Up is Master). S2 is the option for model configuration (Down is Normal Airplane, Up is Mixed Delta Wing).. I noticed Pete has a little better description of the 2 axis gyro install under the description.. Star Trainer with BS2X 2 Axis Flight Stabilization Gyro in HD!

Part - 3: the nose slowly starts to come down the gyro will give it a full elevation for correction which won’t let the jet pick up speed thus it’ll crash no matter what u do, this is what I think happened to my f22 and had to buy a new one lol, I LOVE the gyro just because I can fly straight in full speed while I’m only a foot or so above the grass lol then I can break left or right and climb on a single input and let go of the stick. Happy flying.

Part - 2: if the gains are set to higher settings it’ll work best with slower speeds, but once the jet gets near to full speed, it will act weird and sometimes get out of control. Lower gain means higher speeds will be in much better control. It took me longer to get used to the gyro then it took me flying them without it. Also, I think that if u don’t toss it straight enough with enough force,

This was my first BH purchase, so far so good. Haven't tested the electronics yet, but I am hoping they work just fine. I'm confused on how to mount the gyro in this thing, I know that you have to place it in a certain angle, but then Pete talks about bending the prongs on there. How would I connect my servos to it if they are bent? Thanks.

OK...chalk it up to us being rookies but we got it sorted out now.....Banana Hobby went out of their way so I could pick this up on Christmas eve for my son...Thanks BH..!!!

Pete, you said that we could choose to fly with the controls separately as ailerons and elevator but the plane only has two servos and each one must control the elevator and aileron on each side and so delta wing config is a must on the plane (not on the radio). Perhaps you were referring only to the radio? That might not have been clear in the video.

lowrider797u5 does it come with the glue to assemble? and does your brother maybe know how long the flight time it has?

Mine HAS to be put in the plane lengthwise like you said. I couldn't get it to work correctly with it sideways in the plane no matter how I moved the dip switches lol. What is the positions of your dip switches? Also... Do your surfaces move slowly back to center with the stick being moved and then released? Mine does this. Also, my surfaces do not moved as fast as the ones in this video with it in there.

What is the longest run time you can achieve for a backpack jet like this? On the best batteries? Stock batteries?

My gyro needs to be set the opposite of Pete's. If I put it in the plane sideways the surfaces do not move correctly when the plane is moved on the axis. It is set up right though as the surfaces move like they should when I move the sticks. What about yours??

Im confused, so if I am using my DX6i with this jet, do I have to configure the Gyro like you are in this vid or is it already set in the factory? Please respond I plan on purchasing this.

Hi Pete I bought BananaHobby's F-22 park flyer with 2D gyro. You CAN install the gyro length wise, so you don't have to bend any pins.

Are the roundels vinyls or printed? I wanna change it to the RAF roundel if I'm gonna buy it

Christian Mygind .. I have the F-35 with a two axis gyro, because you only have two control axis.. ailerons and elevator. On my 1500mm P-51 Mustang, I have a 3 axis gyro installed, because it has ailerons, elevator, and rudder controls.

I mean it's cool but I wanted retracts like the A-10....it would be more worth it !

Nothing you can do...you're too high up in elevation. More power to motor will only burn up motor b/c air is too thin to cool down the motor sufficiently. You have to buy a plane with a large wing area if you want to fly at that altitude

You need to send planes to FLITE TEST. Their videos get tons of views and give you free advertising. A small donation of a plane and sponsorship to them will bring you alot of business.

do you realize how many times you adjust your sunglasses? perhaps you should get some that fit or not wear any at all...its distracting....just saying. except for that your reviews are excellent.

Well thats if you don't count the f-35 a or f-35 c. Only the f-35 b has STOVL.

Very dissapointed with this airplane, so fragile, and just put it in to my car seat paint comes off, ailerons are really fragile, next time I will be veery carefull in buying from banana hobby.:(
