Perfect first landing on grass

I recently retired my f-35 . Airframe still intact never crashed her. She comes in a little hot But she will never bounce. Truly a great jet all around. The wings even have plastic on the bottom so you don’t scuff them. Why did I retire it. I could not see it in the sky at times. Usually when the skies were gray.

Nice plane - Take off without doubt the scariest bit - well done for keeping the power on. A parachute would be nice for short landing with no flaps available (and as battery power backup haha)

Thanks, I never worried about my jets and planes colors, try either tape or paint to spice it up and make it easier to see, I used to use a mix of red and gold that always allowed me good sight of my planks

Well Captain!, great to hear you are on holidays and taking a well earned break !!!; just two comments; the second landing image with the planes silhouette on the side was (to quote your good self!) fringing awesome!!!!; second; I wonder what the top speed of the Inspire 1 would be in comparison!!! (sorry, couldn't help that!!)

Another great review Steve. That is a beautiful looking plane but especially in the air doing those fly bys. It looks so scale. Did you get my message. You helped me and my wife get our new drone in the air. She wrote saying we were having trouble hooking it up. It was a cfly faith mini. We got it based on your review. You had said you didn't think the phone was hooking up properly and you were right. We got it going and it was great for the first 8mins. I think there is a problem with the connection. It was flying and then suddenly acted like it was unplugged and fell from the sky.

Would the GPS work under the canopy? It likely would help a little for speed being more streamlined. Always great to see your reviews 👍💪

Under the canopy means it sits closer to the nose and ruins the CG making it extremely nose heavy (it would never get off the ground on a short runway).

Have you seen the RC SR71 blackbird by Eflight if you get the chance to test it's a beauty.😮

@@CAPTAINDRONE798 Brill I will keep my eye out , I don't like war but never once was one plane shot down on missions, reaching Mach 3.1 the skin of the plane was so hot you could fry eggs on it , Lockheed built a classic plane and the model flyes terrific .

You must be a GPS CAMERA DRONE Pilot used to 30 mins of flight time. In the RC hobby, RC Helicopters, RC Planes and FPV Drones all have an average flight time of 5 minutes. It takes skill to fly any of these 3 RC products and 5 minutes will remind you of the first time you had sex. It is the most amazing feeling and that 4 or 5 minutes felt so much longer to you because it was so intense.😁

There is no GPS on this plane. You can buy some rc planes that have a gps for beginners to keep the plane in a certain flying area. Some pilots build long range FPV planes that have a GPS to let them know where they are due to the long range.

It flies great and looks great, I’m very happy with this one. It just needs a long runway for take off and landings.

IMO 4 min of flight is horrible, and as for the flaps, you can mix the ailerons to become flap-erons, and the elevators are technically “stabilators” but non the less cool review and good looking jet!

I am REALLY CONFUSED NOW Steve..... You state in other videos that FPV drones can only get about 4mins flight at full speed doing dips turs etc to capture good footage...... Why buy a plane such as this that only has 4mins flight on such a big plane... why waste money as would expect at least 30mins minimum for a winged aircraft????????? The whole point of flying is to have fun and relax a good long flight..... Not take off and then have to land in the moments it takes a boiled egg to cook in a pan?

Guess ya gotta join the millions to see what the big deal is. There is a reason the RC plane hobby is the largest and longest existence hobby world wide.

Its very common for most EDF's to get around 4 minutes of flight. Actually, its very common for a lot of rc aircraft to get around 4-6 minutes of flight. I have a 600mm Ultrix that gets 18 minutes of flight time. Unless im using Fpv, i really go that long.. Or, you can look at what drone guy says with the sex analogy... but truly fixed wing flight is absolutely different than drones..

Just for the record - the F35-Lightning is so ugly, USAF F-35 Demo Pilots at airshows stand next to other airplanes.....
