@@SergeCaelers Well....that's the people at Rock n Roll Fantasy....Joey ( the guy in the middle ) pleaded with the higher-ups at RRFC if he could do this song with us and they agreed. I didn't want to at first for personal reasons and my love for Ronnie.......but that would've defeated the purpose of the spirit behind RRFC! It's about all the thrown away dreams by those who at the time felt thay had to sacrifice their dream in order to get a good paying job. And in the 4 days each camp lasts...I try to make it more like all those people who sacrificed their dreams and have celebrated us....we turn it all around and celebrate them! Come what may....like these things here in this video....most of the time it's very rewarding!

The singer is living his dream. Good for him. Instead of bashing, let's encourage. Love the positive vibe Vinnie, Craig and Rudy have.

Rudy always has a positive vibe! I met him at RRFC when I sang a Dio song. He was so nice to me after I sang, and I'm not really a singer. He made my day.

Vinnie's facial expressions = Priceless 😄😆🤣

The vocalist sounds more like Brian Johnson, than Ronnie James Dio.

I love me some Neil Peart, but I have to say that Vinny Appice is right up there with him in terms of my favorite drummer of all time. Look at him playing so effortlessly...chewing bubble gum, talking to Goldy, yawning, daydreaming, playing chess with his left foot, doing his taxes with his right foot, helping his kid with math homework all while playing Rainbow in the Dark on a mickey mouse drum set. Amazing! Back in the 80's I once saw him program a VCR while performing a drum solo. He's so good!

Vinnie apice has such an original drumming style ,very few drummers can be picked out from thier playing style or "SOUND" but Vinny is so unique and his timing is unreal

I have always said body movement has a particular sound....that being said...Vinnie has a tight short throw with his hands...could be construed as "stiff" style...and that has its own sound...punchy of sorts with a bit of rough edge. Drummers like Neil Peart, Steve Smith etc all study technique and smoothness....body posture etc...Vinnie just throws down and does short punches...which is how his sound is created. You can indeed hear...body movement.

Aside from all the obvious, I love a pinch harmonic on the low strings in a riff.

....he's got such a nice feel, love his embellishments/fills and the way he's sometimes just in front or just behind the main beat at times jazz rock style. Very cool.

Who is he? I know the others because I grew up in the 80's. They were all a huge inspiration for me back in the 80's. Those were the greatest and most fun times of my life. Boy how things have changed nowadays. I wouldn't mind going back to 1984 when I was a Senior in hs. Never thought I would feel that way!

Those three really show their professionalism here.

That singer is one of the hardest working musicians I have ever met! I actually jammed with him here in Florida with some bad as musicians he also plays keyboard and writes his own music! I hope he gets picked up by a big band or label because he deserves it!!!!! Great job T!!!!!!!

Well Rudy did play with DIO for 5-6 years, he only played with Ozzy for about a year and a half. But I guess he's more famous for playing with Ozzy than anything else he's done.

I have a 13 piece kit with 16 Zildjians, and yes, it is VERY difficult playing a scaled down kit.

I like "Garfield Minus Garfield" comic strips, but "But Dio Minus Dio" just doesn't rock the same vibe.

Damn...tough crowd. Is he great? No. So what? He's getting to live out his dream for a moment in time, and he's got one helluva heart. There are actually a few good moments, and I think with some training, he could be really good. He's definitely got an hard rock AC/DC type tone. All i have to say is, "good for him"

This is why Craig Goldy is one of my favorites. Not only is Craig Goldy a world class guitar player but an exceptional person as well. The DIO Sacred Heart concert from 1986 thats here on You Tube might be one of the best heavy metal guitar performances ive ever seen. You Tube needs more Craig Goldy.

And I bet for ballads when he brought it all back down he'd probably have sweet tones.
