Its a pain to change the filters and you can NOT inspect for debri inside the case . The worst is to change ( the battery is hiden behind a ton of plastic covers) and reprogramme the the new battery , especially if is not original BMW. I miss my old X3 (2007) and the 3.18i BMW from 2002 . Thise used to have benzine filter for protection. The F60 doesn't have. THANKS FOR THE VIDEO.

Because you have to pay a lot of money for labor

The main answer is trying to fit a mid size level of features and tech/hardware into a relatively small car I have the last gen and have to remove my coolant tank to get to my oil filter because it's just such a packed little engine bay lmao
