Sadly You Won't Find This Anymore In New Orleans , It's Turned Into A Leftist Progressive Santuary Shitzhole Like Lotsa Other Places , Bourbon Street At One Time Was A Incredible Experience , I Loved The Music You Could Find There , But The Liberal Leftist Maniacs Ruined It As Everything Else They Take Control Of , Sad New Orleans Had To Sink Into The Abyss Of The Globalist Progressive CESSPOOL SEWER , The Government Has Racebaited And Hatemongered Americans Into Destroying Everything Including Our Greatest History , It's Truly Sad

@odeerg well I'll say you got one part of it right anyway ,the leftist I despise so much
Muchisimas gracias
I miss this so much. When I lived in the Quarter, I lived at the far end of Royal, near Esplanade, and had to walk to Canal every day to go to work. I would leave 2 hours early just to be able to stop and enjoy the music on the way.

@@NFONoFadeOut Ohh ,,thanks for posting this gem ,, I'd been studying this vid almost frame by frame for an art project I'm developing about nola street musicians,,,to discover the names is actually the result of the curiosity. , I `d been twice in NOLA couple o years ago , unfortunately never saw any of this guys playing,,in that lovely Royal street..wish I could. ,,,any clue' bout what that vintage typewriter is doing there?

@@AldoVila thanks for your interest! Please tell us more about this art project of yours, we would love to know more about it! I actually do not know what the typewriter does on the scene, but I can guess that it was intended as a rythmic instrument in some other tracvks played by the band before or after the tune I recorded.

Ve Amo !!!
I grew up in Oregon and around the Pacific Northwest my whole life and am so excited for the day when I finally make it through New Orleans and can witness some of this kind of magic with my own eyes. I’m so glad we have these musicians keeping the spirit of New Orleans alive!
I noticed Shay Cohn on the fiddle, quite a surprise, from brass to keyboard to string. But the voice and singing style of the suitcase base drum/guitarist surely is that young man from 'Yes Ma'am String Band', is it?
Great
The basic band/group is "The Drunken Catfish Ramblers". (Note the "DCR" initials on the box of the string base player).
Playing cornet and leading the groups and even playing the piano, but the violin too? She is terrific. I assume she chooses the repertoire, also. WOW!!
Looks like Matthew Bracken of "Yes Ma'am" on guitar/vocals/suitcase bass drum
This how to live , keep it going
