There’s a really old parkour map where all the levels are paintings. It was also based around colours and optical illusions.
I love how he’s completely oblivious to how the doors made him smaller or bigger when he first entered the library.
This mod is called immersive portals. To change size with portals you need pehkui. To change gravity you need the gravity changer mod.
Let's face it, if we somehow ended up in another universe that is non-euclidean, we would probably go insane (unless you aren't normal or already insane to some degree). Our euclidean brains would struggle to live in a non-euclidean universe.

It mixes Minecraft engine and an non euclidean engine. It is a mod for Fabric and Forge Minimal version (of Minecraft)to run it:1.16.5

Yep!
"You're teleporting!" "No, I'm not" Well, you are. That's, how the mod works. Any portal you go through TELEPORTS you to the receiving end. It's not like you're bending reality actually, is it? So technically your friend was right, eventhough he didn't mean it like that, because he had no idea about the mod.
