Concept for a cursed painting idea (just my two cents): Make a portal behind a glass wall that is relatively small, then make a same-size portal somewhere else. Not only does it look like painted scenery, but objects in the painting move around - making it feel like the painting's inhabitants are alive!

Honestly I love to watch these videos as pure presentations of the sheer amazing art-form Minecraft truly is. It is insane what new ways modders find to stretch the code in ways which Mojang probably didn't think possible- and then they release it for everyone to enjoy and use in pretty epic builds. I'm ready to see some mappers use this for some epic Lovecraftian horror maps along with the Create mod. Heck, someone could even remake some scenes from Doctor Strange or something similar like the portal-hopping antics of, well, Portal and stuff like Homestuck's Windows. I kinda want to see someone recreate stuff like a Treasure Planet gate or a Farcaster Portal from Hyperion.

i just realized that you could make the worlds largest dropper with this mod

I want to point out that calling those trampolines is really strange for people in other countries or areas. I know across the US they are called "Diving Boards", but they are also called "Spring Boards" or "High Dives". Trampoline is usually used to refer to tarp attached to springs, which are in turn attached to a metal ring or square; people jump up and down on them.

Small build idea: If you place stairs going down, make a portal on the stairs, then make stairs going up on the other side of the portal it will seamlessly make you end upward

This video fills me with indescribable joy, maybe it has something to do with the music but, this may be the best Minecraft video I've ever watched.

I liked yours the best, more fun with the portals but it could be even more epic. I suggest looking at normal adventure maps that have giant rooms/houses you play through and watch the Confusion Ending of The Stanley Parable for inspiration too! Like, I just want to see a non-euclidean house that is just as epic as possible.

Uhh... No it can't. It's actually a major flaw with the portals, they're usually revealed by the light differences between blocks

That description is aiming hard for that algorithm 👌

btw, you can make circle and other shaped portals using the portal helpers.

Should have made bunker that looks like it is above ground with a large building or something but at the entrance have a portal that goes deep underground and have certain parts that go with the buildings footprint and windows at other parts, add in a few rooms that are obs portal rooms but try to make the entrance as seamless as possible so they think that the main. Building that they are in is above ground then at the end you could show that the entire thing above ground was empty
