FOR ANYONE WHO IS EXPERIENCING THE RAID BAR DISAPPEARING: If the raid bar disappears as soon as it fills up and then nothing happens afterwards, your villager is likely in the wrong spot. The composter should be directly under the Northwest corner of the 5x5 spawning platform (The one that gets built at 9:30 in this video). If you are experiencing problems with the pillagers spawning in the wrong spots (e.g. on top of the villager cacoon or on the walls of the spawning platform), then put slabs on the spots they are spawning on to prevent them from spawning there.

@@omppelix114Its probably on easy mode, you have to change your diffculty to hard or normal mode for it to drop totems

This is the best raid farm in Minecraft. One small tweak: From the kill platform, go up 4 blocks and add a sign and a block of water on top of the sign. This will slow the mobs so they don't die from fall damage, resulting in exponentially more experience and substantially more emeralds. It also means you get Bad Omen 4 or 5 every time without having to spam swing your sword. You will still have some die from entity cramming, but you'll get so much exp that it doesn't matter. Make sure your sword has looting 3 and Sweeping Edge 3. Thanks for this awesome video/design.

Hey, nice tutorial - bit of feedback though: Villagers look (at daytime) for workstations, just place it and let him walk into it (let him drop onto it two blocks down for example). The same thing works with beds at night Also, IMO it makes for a better tutorial if you mention what you are building right now: - Next, we build the spawning platform for the raid, a 5x5.... - This is going to be the lavapit to kill the ravagers And instead of repeating, "build exactly like i do" (thats what most are here for) - you can highlight the structure you build (8x2 or whatever) and the direction you are facing to give someone following along a point of reference. Just a bit of friendly adwise that would make a tutorial a bit more engaging, cheers :-)

Works like a charm! I left out the boat vex-proofing because i was pretty late in the game and i could kill everything in one hit so evokers didnt get a chance to spawn them. Btw, if you want to build something small nearby like me (A nether portal for example) and cant move it outside the 7 chunks just put buttons all over it to spawnproof it and itll work still exactly as intended.

when i’ve transported villagers i usually put a bed and a work station where i want them to go & usually after a little bit they’ll walk up to it

Using in 1.19 and it works great! Only tweak I've made is adding a little piston that suffocates them at the end so I can make sure I don't get bad omen. As I'm writing this I'm thinking maybe it would be easier to just put a cow up there so I can have infinite milk to remove the effect... Oh well lol.

@@realtimeless_6991 you're right. But if you have a villager station at your base like I do, then you can never go home because you have bad omen and you'll trigger a raid at your base. So I found that putting a cow at the top is good to get rid of the bad omen effect when you're done using the farm.

Thank you for not just assuming we all have an elytra, i plan to build this in my hardcore world and i havent beaten the game yet, i only got minecraft java a few months ago and i am still getting used to not playing bedrock. I have never fought the dragon on java be4 so i will be sure to use the totems! Thanks for the farm!

Way easier just to break a new librarian's lectern until it comes up as a trade, then you can just buy it whenever you need it. It just has to be a librarian that you've never traded with otherwise they're locked in.

Just finished this, works perfectly, everything spawns where it should. One raid round and everything is there, all loot including totems. You get hero of the villege too. Make sure you are on hard and everything is placed proprerly. Thanks for a great tutorial. I am playing on the latest version of minecraft. We play with mob heads on our Smp, I have Pillager , Evoker , Vindicator and Witchs heads, so everything spawns.

@@br3dcs that is dependent on how long you are in the trip wire, if you sit in it until you are pushed you shouldn't get the spam

this is my first raid farm and let me say that he is good at explaining and all of that. im proud to say this is a good raid farm and simple

a suggestion so you don't have to gather so many blocks just get a lava bucket and a water bucket. wait for the lava to get down remove the source then place water in the middle so it creates the same thing but you will have to mine a few blocks at the bottom.

@@charmy3549 you need a bucket of milk to stop the raid,drinking in the kill zone when you finish yours raids, then you can leave, the bad is you lose the hero of the village too

Worked great for me, and super simple to build. On 1.19 I had to add some slabs on some of the areas on the spawning platform because I kept having pillagers fall off in to the water and I had to chase them down lol. I don't know if the update has something to do with that or if I did something wrong. I'm pretty sure I did everything exactly like you though. Either way it was a super easy fix.

I realized what I have to do is get the bad omen, then fly with my elytra up to the killing platform before I start the raid and then drop down on to the waterlogged chest in order to start the raid because if I just take the bubble column up from sea level its too fast and the raid will cancel because it takes me away from the villager too quickly. Also I made sure that the villager has a bed to sleep in. idk if that changed anything.

I built this and I'm having One Issue. The raid Starts, Bar fills, units Spawn, raid bar goes dark and says Raid-Victory before the First wave even starts to drop. the heights of the platforms are the same as in the video and the platform and Villager are all within the same chunk even.

I think what could be happening is that the raid is spawning somewhere else, the only spawnable platform in a 64 block radius should be the one of the farm

This build is over water as recommended in the video, When the raid begins the first wave will spawn in the designated area when standing on the player platform. The wave will spawn, the raid will be concluded as a victory not creating additional waves. The one benefit is that killing the wave will grant the Bad Omen effect allowing to Chain additional raids but no evokers are ever included which means the farm never produces Totems of Undying, and only a small handful of emeralds. Additionally I am playing on a Multiplayer vanilla server and do not have access to the adjusting the difficulty level.

Love it so much it just spawns the whole raid in like a second then after 10 seconds they're all in the killing chamber The distances make it so you get bad omen again and you can just drop down to the waterlogged chest to start another raid seconds after the last

Thanks! Ive hated doing raids the old fashioned way, but the loot is so good Edit: quick tip, your kelp will stack on itself no matter how far down the stalk you place it. You can stand outside your bubble elevator and just hold right-click on the kelp :)

When you get bad omen can you keep getting raids or do you have to keep going back to get bad omen? And does this work on bedrock?

Once you get bad omen 1 & above, you can keep cycling the raid because the raid spawns flagged pillagers. This allows you to come back up and down through the water elevator after each wave kill. However, if you leave the premise of the farm and start a raid at a faraway village/drink molk, you would need to farm bad omen once again.

Thanks, this took me a few hours to mane but it was worth it

If you don't mind, what is the glass ring around the spawning platform for? I think if you swapped it for something you cannot see through, the vexes would not spawn.

A non-spawnable block is required and glass is the easiest. Additionally, I think mobs can't see through glass. Either way, if you kill the evokers quickly enough, vex shouldn't be much of a problem.

when the game difficulty is normal have 60% chance to drop items and the hard mode have a 80% to drop

I love this design, I've already built it twice and it works fantastic. just one little thing you shold keep in mind if you're playing on 1.20.x, at 11:30 the signs will burn so use banners or slaps instead.

Friendly feedback: Show dimensions of the build beforehand, I've had to look the full video to know where I can build the farm Instead of "watch the video closely" or "do exactly as I do", make aerial shots of the build with measures, so the video aint that hard to follow Have a good one

From what i have seen 1.18.2 is a lot different from 1.18 and 1.18.1 , it has changed a lot of mechanics including the raid mechanic and since this farm is made for 1.18.2 it will not work on 1.18.1 so plz update your world to 18.2

Hey! Very good farm! I was wondering tho, if it would be possible for you to design a raid farm in 1.18 that produces around 200k emeralds/h. Dont ask why i need that much, but it would be very nice, since there are not many farms out there, that produce such large amount. thank you in advance! For some reason they aren’t spawning in the right area. Or spawn in the ocean. What can I do to fix it

That's happening to me too :/

Guys I need help, the pillagers spawn always on the roof of the villager, and as soon as I slab the roof they dont spawn anymore, the raid just get cancelled. They dont want to spawn where they should spawn, any advises? Edit: I have downloaded the schematic and saw the error, got it working
