All the Hermits are special, but it's no exaggeration to say that Hermitcraft would be profoundly less than it is without Scar. I think the rest of the Hermits would agree.

I could keep on going, but pretty much every hermiit is an important part of server. If any single one of them left, hermitcraft wouldn't be the same...

@@Orange-rq8br I’d say Mumbo and Grian would probably have the biggest impact if they left, since they’re by far the biggest and contribute the most views. But each hermit is very important to the series!

Scar is probably one of the best Minecrafters to introduce noobs to. Like he is so friendly with his style and its not over complicated, just takes dedication. That and Jellie defiently does not bias me towards Scar at all🙂

Pretty much a majority of the Hermits in the Hermitcraft server is the best people to introduce a Minecraft noob too.

Saying that Scars mountains were like Disney world is spot on. He’s super knowledgeable about Disneys design concepts and seems to incorporate a lot of it in his builds.

This is a tremendous tribute to a tremendous Minecraft player. GoodTimesWithScar has to be the most creative person in Minecraft and he is the most humble and grateful streamer you'll ever watch.

Scsr and bdubs are minecraft legends, their legacy will live on beyond their mortal souls! This was a lovely tribute to one of the two gods! And i think i can speak for us when i say, the joy felt in this video is the joy we all feel when watching them. My mood is always improved by scar and bdubs joyful being.

I'm not even disagreeing, but it's amazing to realize that just calling him the most creative of the Hermits puts him in stiff competition! The whole crew is wild, and they mainly got there together!

Actually it's super cool you guys mentioned that the season 8 mountains looked like they were made for Disneyland - Scar has said before he studies the specific design conventions that Disney Imagineers use to create certain flows and feels in their structures in their parks, and then imitates those principles in his Minecraft builds like those mountains. The offshoot of Midnight Alley that he did for Grian is another great example of that.

Scar really is the GOAT. So inspiring!

I'm actually so incredibly delighted to hear this guy gush about Scar to his friends "dude he's amazing check this out" and absolutely jamming out to Howling I love life One time I heard Howling playing somewhere (I forget where ah it was like in another random video or a documentary or something) and I was like OH MY GOD SCAR also yooo I had no idea Scar is 39 that's so cool I love seeing all the diversely aged hermits having fun together

Them jamming to scars superfast build mode music is the most relatable thing ever.....

I’m living on his hype over the hermits and scar. None of my friends really know much about Hermitcraft, so I’m sitting here like “I know!! I know right! Oh my gosh same, I know! I know!! It’s so awesome!” *bopping along to music*

Brooooooo! I'm so jelly! Dam, I wish I was watching more Mcyt builders back then instead of just Roleplayers like Aphmau, DanTDM, and iHasCupquake and friends. And survival achivers like Pat and Jen.

The guy conjures whole continents stuffed with life and detail out of thin air and makes it look easy! He's got a peerless eye for composition. All the Hermits are crazy good at lots of stuff, but Scar is definitely the undisputed king of survival terraforming. It helps that he apparently used to do landscape painting as a hobby haha

I honestly love scar to death. His genuine positivity in the face of such overwhelming adversity with how sick he gets sometimes just makes me sit back and look at some of the stuff I complain about sometimes and makes it all seem so trivial. So it's made me think more positive ever since i started watching him. The man radiates positivity and is so wholesome it's honestly ridiculous

I literally get this hype about Scar too. He’s a scholar in building.

I'm not sure if hitch has seen them, but the tours of the Sci Craft server mumbo did would be very fun to see these guys react to. Sci Craft is the most p[popular, and I think longest-running Technical Minecraft server, they focus on optimizing the game to the extreme and farming a Double chest of every obtainable item in Minecraft. As well as just making ridiculous projects for fun, one of their coolest projects is when they recreated sky block in an actual world with bed rock breaking. Highly suggest it.

One of my Fav Hermitcraft Worlds you really have to see is Season 5, Scar did the underground community shopping district that is mindblowing and everyone's bases is genius

Now you need a compilation of scar fails/deaths. Third life, The Great Rollercoaster Ride of Boatem, the first ep of Hermitcraft S9

2:40 you can kinda estimate how long it takes by counting how many times the day reset. a minecraft day takes 10 irl minutes to pass, so just count how many of those and thats will give you a rough time of building alone, not the resource gathering or planning though

Plus they're both so good at terraforming it would be insane for them to work on a project together

And on top of this is the humour, collaboration and story telling between the Hermits. Honestly, Hermitcraft is good on so many levels - every Hermit is an awesome character, entertainer and artist.

3:39 if you want to work out how long a time-lapse is, watch the sun - you'll notice that every time it hits sunset it turns back to day (because someone slept), and each sunset to sunset is ten minutes (assuming night is skipped) (night is another ten minutes if not skipped)

You should make a reaction of Mumbo's redstone contraptions, he has a lot of clips on hermitcraft building amazing stuff

You guys should do a reaction to Mumbo Scicraft survival tour! The most insane technical minecrafters. Literally, unbelievable!

The hilarious part about this is that in this season, it was actually Impulse who was using Willy Wonka as the inspiration. Some non-Hermits I'd suggest to watch as builders would be people like fWhip (his current Hardcore series is insane) and Dangthatsalongname, aka Scott, aka Smajor, aka one of the Minecraft Championship organizers, etc.

"Drill into the earth" have these guys seen the Scicraft quarries and world destroyers? That does exist, it's just on the redstone side

It's awesome to see other people geek out about the HermitCraft builds!

I love how the guy in the middle is just a huge Hermitcraft fan who is showing his friends everything about it. Literally something I would do but he recorded it. I love it.

You guys should invite scar to a Q&A and ask all your questions to him.

Oh please do more of these videos reacting to some of the other hermits! As I'm sure you know, all of them are absolutely incredible at what they do and it would be so fun to see the reactions to like Bdubs and Doc! One who I would absolutely love to see you guys react to is Gem because her skills at building organics is just great!

All for the scar love, but you missed his grandest buildings within aqua town, such as his numerous 1920s themed buildings, with both exteriors and interiors.

He is seriously the best ever…love scar …love the hermit craft reacts!

13:48 yo, you should check out Fwhip. Mountain's and terrain are like his bread and butter. The way he builds is so unique. He literally creates his own terrain over the existing ones. Def worth a watch at some point,

Yeah the world tour he did a while ago with somebody I can't remember who (maybe smallishbeans aka Joel) was freaking ridiculous with how much he built

this is the wholesomeness i didn't know i needed but so glad youtube recommended to me! haha it's almost embarassing how hitch and i act the literal same about scar and telling others about him LOL and the song is a BANGERRRR

I like how During the Themesong the middle guy said *I dont know what instrument this is* Then continues to play it with his hands exactly how a FLUTE is played

And every time he is like “I gathered some resources.. for 3 days” and I’m like “WHAT?! 3 days Ressource gathering?!” 😂 He is truly and god in this game.

Scar is BY FAR the most EPIC builder on hermitcraft or just Minecraft in general. He GRINDS and builds SO MUCH and everything is SO EPIC. But he can build in any style-modern, industrial, fantasy-everything. AND he did it even when dealing with some really serious health issues. I just love him so much. My 7yo son and I followed his recent health scare while he was in the hospital… he’s just so incredible. No one else does what he does. I love bdubs too and he’s also amazing. And grian. But there’s something about Scar that’s special. He’s such a good guy. How does he stay so positive?

This instrument is the Pan Flute. Highly underrated and often memed. Scar has been playing OW since release if I am not mistaken, possibly Alpha.

Scar is so creative. Pre Hermit days, like 6 years ago, he completed the best roller coaster ride. Check out his Minecraft Roller Coaster Ride (Best Survival Roller Coaster Ever Built) vid and take a ride.

You, talking about the bridges: "This probably took him like 6 hours." and "This must have taken so much time." Me, knowing how fast a long-time player can build (and watching the sky): "This probably took 3-4 hours of build-time."

A way you can estimate the Time it takes is to just Watch the Sunrise and Sunset in Minecraft and just count the number of Days! In that first Timelapse, there was 29 Minecraft Days that passed. That translates to almost 10 Hours of non stop Build-Time!! Scar is one of the Best Builders to ever play the game! Its Astonishing

You can count the days that go by. 20min for a full day night cycle, but if other hermits sleep during the night then well, the night gets skipped so only 10 for the day

The great thing about Hermitcraft is you can be 3 or 103 yrs old and still enjoy it!!

You should check out season 5 onwards, imo season 5 is where many hermits found their groove with base design etc. especially if you check out Tango and mumbo
