Nice videos, love the format! For those wondering how to keep it “held down” either use tape/heavy object, OR if you use a wired/wireless mouse via USB/USB dongle, while holding down the mouse button, unplug the mouse. You can then leave it unplugged or plug it back in for when you return, you’ll still be fishing. Just make sure you change the sleep settings appropriately on your computer.

I built the exact fish farm based on other tutorials. Never figured out why it didn’t work. Thanks for pointing it out that you can’t have a block above the pressure plate

Do you have one that also cooks the beef? I've seen a few that have an area you feed cows and then water carries the baby cows into the next area but I haven't been able to get them to work in 1.16.

Three options. Put something heavy on your mouse holding mouse 2. Also with an autoclicker, but you have to download it Or make your minecraft unpausable so when you hit alt+tab it continues playing and fishing but you are not into the game, i forgot how to do this last one!

Another option: if you’re using a usb mouse (wired or wireless with a dongle), you can unplug the mouse while holding down the mouse button. You’ll keep fishing, then plug the mouse back in immediately without holding any buttons or whenever you like.

Hmm, I'm pretty sure you need daylight for the fish farm to work. At least on java version.

Exactly the only way fishing has changed i believe is if a fish is near, fishing efficiency increases so people have fished in bigger lakes and had more fish near so they just believe more water=better which isn't true

does it have to be an iron pressure plate and iron trap door
