Gem is literally part of the reason why I am still so motivated to play Minecraft along with other KZreadrs and her calming and positive tone and attitude makes it ten times better!! Like when I am bored I just watch her videos and then be extremely motivated and inspired to play Minecraft and it helps me get back into playing it more and a huge thank you Gem for that!!!! ( she also inspires me with tons of cool creative ideas for builds and things!)

Today has been awful, I’m sad and stressed for a bunch of life reasons, but now I have a couple hours to work and listen to / half watch this series again. It’s so peaceful and chill and positive and it is helping this mess of a day look up a bit. You’re always a bright spot, Gem 💖

Just a few tips for this new update! 1: If you strip mine its much easier to bump into huge caves. 2: The new best lever for diamond finding is -56 or something around that. 3: the lower you get the more diamonds/ore can be in one vein but the are usually less exposed to air. Hope this helps!

Hey you sound like you know you're stuff. I'm relatively new to minecraft and used Geminitay's seed but the Village isnt in the same spot as it is in her playthrough. Any guesses why that is?

Uhhh... For me idk why villages spawn more often in 1.18 than 1.17.

I never thought I'd love my life as much as I do now. I have just the right vibe.. contouring makeup, about to go to my dietician appointment, and listening to Geminitay play the new minecraft update after I played it for 2 hours.. 👌 guys, it gets better I promise!!!

I believe there's a saying that goes: Who has despised the day of small beginnings? And I feel that most when I play minecraft, no matter how powerful you get in one world, starting over is always fun!

Hi Gem!! OMG, I can't express how happy I was when I saw you'd started another let's play!!!! I love the idea of your house looking down on the valley!

this is exactly the kind of playthrough i was hoping to find for the new update! loving this so far!

Don't forget that mob spawning light levels have changed, so you only need two torches (and actually one might do the trick) in your starter house to prevent mob spawns. I love your starter base location!

Gem: Silly me, it’s not safe without a door! Also Gem: *leaves whole two block tall window open and ready for enemies to jump into*

She is so respectful, She closes the door for villagers...

This is my first ever Gem video, and honestly it is my favourite introduction into a series so far. Her voice just makes me so relaxed, yet pulls me in and has me thinking 'maybe this could be added' or 'how did i not think to do that?' She's pulled me in, hook line and sinker into this Let's Play, and I am really glad and looking forward to its future. Great work Gem!

i always love how gem tells us her plans as she’s doing random stuff like how the world is going to go and she is just so relatable

I really enjoy the home feel of this let's play. It makes me feel so cozy

I have been waiting for this series for so long! ❤️ Btw, I personally like to use Copper in roofs, with darker wood with it, it's fun to see it change or just wax it in some state

Can we just take a moment to appreciate how Gem makes such family friendl, fun, and creative videos!? BTW, I would highly suggest finding a large cave and make it your own! Add in some support beams and details if you can find moss! Also the new stalactites would add in such a fun touch! It just popped in my head from the Hardcore world! ❤

I spawned in a division between a desert and a mesa, both huge! Found two desert villages before finding any trees. Played for like an hour, found myself a huge and beautiful jungle and that's where I'm settling in for now. I'm excited and scared to play 1.18!!! ♡

In my new 1.18 world, I spawned on the side of a hill in a gigantic Savannah biome, with a Village at the base. I also know where a Mesa, Desert, and Jungle all are, so I'm excited!

Watched Gem’s first episode of the new hermitcraft season and fell in love. I can already feel an impending binge of her content happening

1.18 update, new generation- the best thing ever

This is such a cool lets play start, suggestion for the grove; a mass pink tree for your adorable pink sheep and houses hanging from the tree connected by bridges and below stylish farms, rivers and statues of all kinds. If possible, upgrade the biome's natural features to have a stronger magical feel to it, it has so much potential already and would love to see what you do with this canvas of MC nature

I have an idea, as the "grove guardian" (hehe gg) a druid-type kinda building would be awesome in the middle of the valley and then call it "The Valley Heart". Soooo excited for this new series!

I love this style of minecraft especially now with 1.18 it’s so magical with the new terrain and the simple ness of starter minecraft is the best.The gathering of animals , harvesting crops and chopping trees is so peaceful I’m looking forward to more episodes Gem

When you potentially get villagers you can deforest some of the grove and have a huge village for you to look down over while you’re on the mountain! And ngl they’re gonna need to be looked after. Who remembers the ones from her hardcore series.

I love this update, I used to spend hours trying to find a big enough mountain to build on and now they’re the first thing you see. I can have my misty mountains! But it will be difficult for people to find flat ground to build on.

Can we just appreciate that gem is in three or four series now and her content stays consistant, HOW?

You are always so wholesome, it's refreshing.

Finally a let's play that I dont miss over hundreds of videos about.

I love that you settled in an area that looks like the Great Valley from Land before Time. Also here's a furnace tip, if you break wooden planks into slabs before using as fuel each slab cooks as much as a plank, I'm curious to know if it still works in 1.18
