My infant son got sick from a bacteria. It damaged his brain and left him disabled in so many ways. He passed away at 2.5 years old. This was my song to him. Today is his birthday. Love you always, my Jude. You are brighter than the stars. ❤

When I was a child I always had really bad nightmares and was in the hospital a lot I had one of them old old radios that I would play a CD in it and hug this blanket so I wasn’t scared this song use to sooth me and still does

Mindy's music always gets to me. This song not only reminds me of my friends and significant other but of myself. Now, I don't have the highest self-esteem in the world, but how it's says "It's not about your scars, it's all about your heart," reminds me of some scars I got when I felt no one cared or loved me. Of course I'm better now because of support from loved ones and therapy, but her songs just make me feel so happy, y'know?
