Wow...Such inspiring lyrics and musicality. My son is a musician/song writer who recommended your song to me. I was instantly capitvated by this song because it is so relatable. This song took me into a time machine to travel back in time and give that little immigrant boy a kiss on the forehead and a big hug because he experienced racism for the first time and was heart broken. Your voice is beautiful and your message is heart felt. Everyone listening to this song can relate.

Seeing the progress from birth to ... Well the end eventually. The compliment on your execution. 35mm film of the Deluxe Daily Roll use. I loved to see all the 35mm hanging as if to create a curtain of film. The footage of you as a child came from a VHS standard definition copy of an 8mm film transfer to tape. Too bad we couldn't have digitized the original 8mm into at minimum high definition to avoid the stair stepped alias. Nevertheless such beautiful execution of an idea and creativity. Oh did I forget to say your voice is like listening to an angel straight from Heaven!❤

That "love myself completely" line really always stands out to me. I feel like self-love (contrary to what most of us have been taught) is the most important thing in the world. But the way I see it, you can't draw from an empty well/the whole "put your oxygen mask on first" thing on an airplane. I've found as I have moved away from the guilt driven "I need to serve others more," to my own attempts at "loving myself completely," it's also been a natural byproduct of just loving on others and blessing their lives in different ways. I was just minding my own business in the editing room paying no attention to anything except rebuilding the computer that crashed in the middle of a big film project and then I heard it... An Angelic song coming from another room. I had to stop to see what was going on. It was almost over. My editor buddy told me who it was after I asked, she then restarted the video and as I watched, tears began to flow. Mindy... You are so tender in heart and passion. This is so touching. I thought of that cute little boy I once was and all the trials I had experienced. Forgiveness, love compassion and charity toward one another for we are more than what we seem at present. All are tender children inside and though the stress and pressure of life is here to create diamonds of us all... Never forget what angels truly reside inside.
