This resonates for us as commentary on the sad politics that is currently ascendant in India (as in many parts of the world), as it poisons us with a mix of hatred, fear and stereotypes, and as it seeks to break up all personal relationships that do not pay heed to their hate doctrines, and seeks to make zombies out of men that run on hate, than with life and love. Thanks for your music, Mindy.

It’s about truth claims of the LDS church and how us members learned we were lied to and that it’s a fraudulent cult. Mindy found this out and left. This whole album is her expression of that trauma. Tyler Glen of Neon Trees did his own leaving the LDS church album. It’s horrible to find out a religion you thought was true turns about to be a lie.
