I love the feeling in his (Jeff Healey`s) song River of no Return.
Stevie always loved playing with the greats, and sharing the stage, he never hogged it, or tried to outdo the other, he was always extremely humble in that way.

Yep, he let Jeff Healey shred and take the lead several times and Jeff kicked ass too and even imitated Stevie`s licks just like him!
Jeff is one of the most underrated guitarists ever in my opinion.

Facts! He doesn't get enough credit for being a master guitar player

Absolutely
I knew you'd love this performance.! Two of the greatest ever! Jeff's ability to play like he did was incredible. To see him jump up and shred like he did, literally playing/holding it simultaneously, because he had no strap, amazes me every single time! Thank you so much for doing this performance! 😘💕🎸
Couldn't click fast enough🎸🎶💯. Awesome reaction once more‼️. Stevie actually met Jeff when Jeff was only 19 and helped expose and promote him. Nothing but mad respect between these two, playing their hearts and souls out of love for the music. If you want to have a high energy blast from Stevie Ray, check out his opening from Daytona Beach Florida 1987. He plays Love Struck Baby(an SRV original) and Rude Mood combined. He plays behind his head while dancing a jig and simply stuns us with how much fun he is having. The video isn't the highest quality but audio is great and is a must see🎸🎶‼️. Thanks as always✌️❣️
Man I love all the classics Stevie Ray and Jeff Healey are truly amazing all the confidence and energy is awesome
I'm certain I'm not the only one who's going to tell you this, but it was Stevie Ray Vaughan who discovered Jeff Healey in the first place. Greatness recognizes greatness. I'm just glad this video exists so we could see them together

Him and Albert
I saw Jeff in Germany. It was a very small theater that held maybe 300 people . The 6 of us were standing front stage, off to the left, right in front and kinda to the side of where Jeff was sitting. German youths don't express themselves quite like us Americans, especially us American soldiers in the U.S. Army!! After every song, we would hoot and holler and whistle etc... After about 4 or so songs, Jeff would finish the song then thank the audience, like he did after every song, then he turned and pointed right at us and said,"Now these guys over here," pointing at us, "I'm going to say without a doubt, are from America, probably servicemen. Right?" , man, we went off!! One would think we all won the lottery the way we were jumping around, acting just like the good ol, hard working, beer drinking American soldiers we were supposed to be! That was a great night. Boy, I'll tell ya...that white boy can play a guitar and sing!!
You can not go wrong with Stevie Ray Vaughan and Jeff Healy!!! Little Sister is the perfect song for them to play together!! SRVs voice is Awesome! I am so glad you are continuing to listen to such Great Artists! May the Rock gods bless you! More Power to you and good vibes always! Luv ya Aileen ❤️💛
I saw them both perform august 26th 1990, (night 1 of the alpine valley concert, Stevie died after night 2.) Best concert lineup I've ever seen. Robert cray and the Memphis Horns, followed by Stevie ray Vaughan and Double Trouble, then Eric Clapton and halfway through Clapton's set the lights went out. When they came back on Jeff Healy was sitting on stage and played the rest of the set with Clapton. Best concert ever! (Hearing the news about the helicopter crash 2 days later was devastating. R.i.p SRV)
Jeff said in an interview once he love playing with Stevie because it never felt like a competition, it was just music.
Just loved this reaction! At the beginning when Stevie is playing rhythm, the cool lines in background are coming from Jeff! They were good friends & you nailed it...They were not 'competing' but jammin' & having fun. I honestly think that Jeff was only Player who could keep up with Stevie
Great reaction aileen glad you loved it. The way he Stevie looks at is so great
Aileen, we're so thoroughly enjoying your reactions. You talk about SRV and Jeff playing with so much emotion and passion but so are your responses. So many other reactors seem to be hamming it up on purpose and it makes me wonder how sincerely they're liking what they're reacting to but yours are so obviously real and sincere. You're bona fide! Keep 'em coming.
Two beautiful souls playing together. Just so amazing to watch. God rest both their souls. Both are missed tremendously ❤
As an older classic rock lover, I usually come in to see your reactions to classics I love. Someone should have been recording me, because while very familiar with both amazing players (and a player myself) I NEVER saw this performance and my mouth was open in awe for the duration. RIP both absolute LEGENDS.
Jeff and Stevie..... And Aileen. Man, thank God for the replay button.... Great vid. RIP Jeff & Stevie......
See Aileen!!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE, the way you LOVE LOVE LOVE, the MUSIC!! It brings something out of you that really separates you from other reaction channels. And your SMILE OMGOSH Aileen, your smile makes every song you react to a joyous occasion. From a person who has lived through things that No Other Human should have to endure, just a simple beautiful smile, can make that persons day. And that’s what you have done for me today. So thank you very much!! Jeff Healy’s “ See The Light” will BLOW YOUR MIND! As a blind musician, he’s a musical prodigy.
SRV was a fantastic guitarist and Jeff Healey was the best blind guitarist that ever lived in my opinion. Heaven is a better place because of these two.
They definitely brought out the best in each other with this song performance! 2 greats that are revered and missed, especiall by us guitarists who were totally in awe of them! Bravo for your enthusiasm as you explore all these classics!
Jeff Healey was a true Canadian legend who left us far too soon. You should check out his video of "See the Light", the man could play or his remarkable voice on "Angel Eyes". RIP Jeff and thanks for the memories and music....🙏
Both were gone too soon, but not before leaving their mark on the music scene. Such talent! Glad we have video clips like this to preserve their legacy.
Check out Stevie and Johnny Copeland doing Tin Pan Alley to see another side of him you will never forget, thanks and God bless ya dear
Kudos to two of the absolute greats in one room and the respect and love shown each other. And you too Aileen. We can feel your enjoyment and passion. Spiritual isn't it? Beautiful.
Time for the meanest blues duet ever - "Tin Pan Alley" with SRV and Johnny Copeland! Tellin ya it's heat and dirty...
Life without you at the Capital Theater will leave you in tears. Such a classic. So much going on in the performance.
A must see is " life without you " at the capital theater !! Please check it out, thanks can't wait. Love your reactions ♥
Stevie was a pro. He knew when to step back and let the new kid shine! I miss both of these cats 🤘
This was in Toronto and Stevie after meeting Jeff backstage gave him his first big break on TV which started his career, Stevie was so generous!
Jeff and SRV, as kids, both got gold stars on their report cards where it says "Plays well with others"!
Rock In Peace Jeff and Stevie.
He was born with the Blues in his blood 💙
This is just one of those extremely special moments when you get two of the most talented guitarists playing together!!!
I love the way, when you get into it, particularly the blues, you smiles goes into a frown in a good way. 🙃. I can tell your invested & “into” it!
Thank you for appearance them we miss them .bbuy the way your gorgeous
Jeff owned a bar on Bathhurst St. in Toronto, I saw him live there in 1989 and was suitably blown away.
There are thousands of books and videos on how to place your left hand fingers on the guitar neck to form cords. Imagine trying to learn it blind with your fingers approaching the guitar neck from the other direction. Truely talented!
Jeff could definitely hold his own and when he stood up and said watch this'll blow your mind Stevie was like okay kiddo here we go ❤and I was a fan of both at the time 😊
Plus Jeff is Canadian so was quite widely known in Canada. chatGPT: Yes, Jeff Healey was Canadian. Jeff Healey (1966-2008) was a highly talented and renowned Canadian musician, known for his skills as a guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter. He gained international recognition for his blues-rock style and unique guitar-playing technique. Jeff Healey was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and he made significant contributions to the music industry throughout his career.
I got to see Stevie live in my teen years. What a show.... You are the best Aileen.... Thank you!

When you were hyping up this react on Twitch yesterday, it made me even more excited to see it 😭 Work can’t end soon so I can watch it!! ❤️
Stevie ! Amazing
Saw Jeff play live at my university in Kingston, Canada... incredible performance I still remember well today!
Wonderful reaction, Bright Angel Aileen. Love your witty, joyful, and knowledgable commentary, and the light your bring into our lives every day.

LOL "Bright Angel" is not quite what I see, but the sentiment is the same. 😈💘
SRV discovered JH❤️ RIP GOATS
It breaks my heart every time I watch either one of those guys. Rest in peace gentlemen
Hi Aileen, I love your music reactions! An amazing song to react to by Stevie Ray Vaughan is "Life without You" at the Capital Theatre, 1985. This one has alot of amazing things happening during the song that make it a must see.
I used to pass by Jeff Healey's club on Queen Street in Toronto on my way to work every morning. ~Terry
I honestly can't believe this hasn't had more likes! Amazing!
Thanks for posting this. I have never seen/heard this before, but you know it will be amazing when you pair up these 2 legends.
I grew up listening to SRV, my father played in a blues band!❤🎸
Such talents!
I was lucky to see Jeff in a bar and took photos of the concert. He was very good.
Wonderful performance from 2 phenomenal guitarists. Jeff Healy & Stevie Ray Vaughn rocking the Blues with such power. It's a pleasure to watch. Try to see the amazing Blues guitar jam with Stevie Ray Vaughn & his hero Albert King!
A Stevie Ray Vaughan video that I would recommend is Stevie and his older brother Jimmie playing a double neck at the same time. The song they are playing is Pipeline.
Two great guys and left us to soon! RIP Both of them damn!
Stevie Ray Vaughan doing Riviera Paradise on Austin City limits is another good video you should check out RIP SRV 🙏
Ok, since you asked... SRV twice in Sacramento, CA: 1st x Sac Comm Center, 2nd x ARCO Arena - he "opened up" for Jeff Beck that night. Saw Jeff Healy twice in Pittsburgh, PA: Opening for Bonnie Raitt during an outdoor show and, later that night (or maybe the next night), in a nightclub he was the "surprise" guest for Colin James - the best $1 I ever spent!
SRV 'discovered' Jeff Healey
Angeline Saris. “Come Undone “. She’s a monster bass player.
Jeff Healey was the best blind guitar player I've ever seen
I was at CBS Records years ago meeting with someone, the floor was open with tons of cubicles and I was in an office on one side with the door open. Out of the elevators on the other side comes Stevie Ray Vaughan, wander around the floor flirting with the secretaries, absolutely plastered drunk. The guy I was meeting with holds my record up and yells at Stevie, "Hey Stevie, check it out!". Stevie glances over, then gets distracted by another secretary and eventually stumbles back to the elevator and leaves. That's my not-so-eventful Stevie Ray Vaughan story.
SRV was quoted to be in awe of Jeff. If you want to hear Jeff at his best check out his cover of ZZ Top’s “Blue Jean Blues”. That song has some of the smokinest guitar playing ever recorded.
Watching your and other people’s videos have show me how great I had it growing up in the 70’s and 80’s ! We had the greatest of all musicians in every style of music. I consider myself very fortunate! Keep up the good work!
You gotta Checkout Stevie & his brother Jimmy playing the same guitar together at the same time 😳 UN f**king believable PIPELINE ON DOUBLE NECK GUITAR
We all know about SRV, but did you know that Jeff Healy was in the movie "Roadhouse" with Patrick Swayze. Theres another Blues Duo that is fantastic as well. Joe Bonamassa w/ Eric Gales, there are a bunch of their videos on KZread. When these 2 get together they battle back and forth, trying to out do each other, My favorite is the Live version of "I Want my Crown"! Both Joe and Eric are at the top of the Guitar world! R.I.P. Jeff and SRV!
The great ones will always feed off each other, they never compete , they compliment each other.
Both with so much talent, that died so young. I missed seeing Jeff playing in a club, & I’m still kicking my ass for it. 😢
As much as I love and respect Stevie, Jeff Healey is something else, especially at this gig. A blind man that was constantly fighting an illness throughout his life and not just standing with the greatest blues musicians out there, but also often overshadowing them with his skill and musicianship. Stevie himself has said that Jeff Healey was the only blues guitarist that intimidated him.
Yeah I fell in love with Stevie Ray Vaughan the first time I heard him too and he has been my favorite guitar player ever since. Two of my favorite songs by him is dirty pool and Tin Pan Alley. But he's got so many great songs out there. Truth is I don't think there's one song by him that I don't like
Jeff has a fast picking hand. Sharing your stage is leaving ego at the door.
Sorry Aileen, had to see your smile again!! Your love for this music is really un matched!! The way the music flows, and then flows through you, is a sight I may have to see a few more times!!❤️😱❤️🔥
Have seen Jeff live, was a spiritual experience, nice reaction :)
Both gone way to soon but not forgotten.
Two absolute legends gone way too soon
I forgot how great that song is. Nice. Thanks for this.
Your joy and passion for great music is so infectious! I love your reactions!
Dang I wished I’d seen that live. Holy C0W!
Oh, I’ve seen this!! Kick ass performance!!
We will continue to listen to great music
Jeff Healy is too often forgotten, but the man is a legend .
I just don’t know what’s better to get me into the Holiday Spirit Aileen, watching these 2 IMMORTAL GENIUS’S play!!!???…. Or watching you react to them!! So I didn’t comment last 3 times I RE-WATCHED, but I just wanted to say THANK YOU. Another really tough year behind us, and another one coming. We always have 2 children’s seats missing every year. My grandson would have been 6 on Match 7th. And we lost our oldest daughter Tiffeny in 2017. She was 34💙🙏So from my heart, to yours, Sincerely Love You To This Moon!! Chris and Toni Stone. Billings Montana💙🙏💙
RIP 2 incredible guitarists
Stevie starts out good but notice when Jeff takes over he starts tearing it up Stevie goes wow and then he turns it up and they riffing off each other!🔥👍
If those two ain't in heaven I don't want to be there either.another great reaction my Lady 👍👍👍😁😁😁
This song is originally from Hank Ballard, who also wrote The Twist.
StevieRay gotta be in the convo in terms of great guitar players. Alieens vibe is top notch🙏👑
IMO 2 of the best blues player your gonna ever see. Just hate that neither are with us anymore.
Your gonna love this.😊😊😊😊😊😊
It was a great video! Kicking ass!
Gotta love Jeff and Stevie on stage together.
Gotta watch Jeff Healey play "See The Light" and "Angel Eyes".
Great reaction….one of my favorite songs (and versions of that song) ever. You should check out “Lenny” which he wrote for his wife and from the same El Mocambo show as Texas Flood.
check out the live in studio video of STEVIE playing w/ one of his idols ALBERT KING for the 1st time
2 of the very best🤘
I love your appreciation of modern blues music. These were two of the greats and will always be remembered as such. We lost Stevie in 1990 and Jeff in 2008. I often think that whatever entity is in charge of the afterlife is being selfish by taking so much wonderful talent away from the world too soon in their careers. Then I remember the Righteous Brothers song "Rock and Roll Heaven" . You know they've got a hell of a band. Untill we find out if that's true I recommend the "Concert for George " video. So much talent playing together, and George's son, Dhani, is the spitting image of his father back in the 50s.
Check out another version of "Look at Little Sister" where Stevie breaks a string, and you'd never know it. By the way, love the stank face!
You can hear the Jeff Healey been on the show roadhouse with Patrick Swayze
The fact that Jeff was blind makes his playing even more amazing
Love you Alieen. More please
