Good video! Thanks! I bought the Gen 2 1/2” Fuel Ratchet in lieu of the 3/8”. My thought behind this was... I wanted the additional torque provided by the 1/2”, but I still wanted to use with my 3/8” sockets. All I did was get a 1/2” to 3/8” Kobalt adapter for the ratchet. It really works well and is now very versatile.

That’s the one tool I didn’t have. You should check out CPO Tools (all brands)/CPO Milwaukee (exclusively Milwaukee). They sell new and factory refurbished. They also have some great tool deals! I ordered a refurbished 7 1/4” Milwaukee M18 Fuel Dual Bevel Miter Saw from them in March. I paid $299. They sent me a brand new saw with the factory foam and zip tie, holding the head down. In addition they included a charger, 5 amp battery and 40 tooth Milwaukee blade. I also ordered an refurbished M12 Fuel Hackzall tool only from them for $79.00. They sent me a new Hackzall... They don’t charge tax and shipping is free for orders of $45 or more. They also ship quick! Take care!

Well done hoss...I try to abide by the 80/20 philosophy. With the given power of each one of these ratchets I personally think that if you are working on passenger cars...bikes...side x sides...quads the 1/4" and the 3/8" should cover most nuts and bolts that you come across. The longer reach will certainly be a game changer...

I went with the older model for size and weight. Not as powerful, but work better in tight spaces. Gen2 is definitely a better performing tool. Glad they came out with the longer version. The size of the 3/8 fuel ratchet head is it's Achilles heel. That gos the same for the new 3/8 fuel extended reach ratchet. That is the reason I have been trying to get Milwaukee to make a version of the 1/4 drive fuel and now the extended reach ratchet just swapping out anvil to 3/8 drive. You would be able to get into tighter places and use sockets up to 1" and 24mm. The added rpm speed would also be a bonus and being a ratchet the small amount of loss in torque would not be much of a drawback. Please help me with this buy contacting Milwaukee and letting them know you also would like to see them come out with this slim head 3/8 fuel and extended reach ratchet.

It's a tool thing that makes NO SENSE. that defeats the purpose of the 3/8. If you put a 3/8 drive on a 1/4 head you will just have the 3/8 with the power of a 1/4. Just get a complete cover drive adapter It wont extend the drive it goes directly over it like a metal sock. I dont remember exactly what the bit is called but theyre out there.

If/when they do refresh this idea, I hope they keep it as short and small as possible on the business end for tight spaces. That's really the engineering problem. I want one, but the bare tool is still over $200. 🤨 I think that’s quite steep. And I don’t typically complain about prices, I truly believe this tool is over priced.

Most tools coming from China that are new seem to have higher prices. Maybe we can make them in the USA soon!

WorkshopAddict hope so! We really need to bring back a lot of manufacturing to the states.

I don’t like these, I bought a 1/2” one and could hold it with my finger tip without a socket... not impressed especially for my hard earned $$$. I found these to be very weak unless you’re using them to undue loosened bolts.. do yourself a favor and buy air for these. I love Milwaukee but I’ll pass this time.

Yeah I've wanted this tool for so long and finally got one for Christmas. I installed my stock exhaust today and pretty much I couldn't use it for a damn thing. Not enough torque to break anything loose. I really wish I could get a nice impact in a small foot print. I know the m18 impact works wonders on most stuff automotive.

@@SnwBlackSnwBlack not a lie... it’s truth. Just because you received a good one doesn’t mean everyone will... why do people have to be so quick to judge.
