My tools are used everyday because I’m a mechanic but I give them a brakeclean bath at the end of the day cause I take pride in my tools and toolbox I don’t like my stuff dirty and grimed up. Yes the have scratches and groves in some but they look nice and cleaned up. Maybe he cleans them when he’s done because he doesn’t want his tools dirty

Do you have a use for so many adjustable and locking pliers or do you just enjoy collecting them? I love collecting tools, even a lot of tools that I don't use, but in order to keep from going overboard, which is so easy to do, I try to limit my new purchases to tools that fill roles that tools I already own can't or shouldn't do.

  • @timsworkshop85

Jayjayhooks most of the tools that I have too much of are from when I was first starting out purchasing tools. I’m at the stage now where whatever I buy it has to be either something I don’t have or something that will have an absolute use on a regular basis.
