I'm currently rewatching King of the Hill and I must say this is the ultimate propane accessory ♥️🔥🔥🔥
99.99999% of people think it looks like the Mil-Wauk-I-A M18 bass Tube for the back of the TRZ IROC-Z! Stay sleeveless my friend!

I've had my dewalt 20v propane torpedo heater for 2 or 3 years now, welcome to the club
Thanks for the video. I have the DeWalt one. Been using it for the last couple years with no issues. Very quiet. The Milwaukee and DeWalt appear about the same. Great heaters.

Yeah me too, I have the DeWalt also love it... But Milwaukee did address the only two issues I have with the DeWalt 1. The hose wrap... Nice 2. The quick spinner on the tank fitting... No wrench needed... Nice
Just ordered. Thanks for the review

Another excellent presentation bruther from anuther muther, lol. Yes, I will be getting one of these. I need one but it probably won't be until next year. $ is tight during the winter months and electricity here is almost the highest in the country. As far as the AC option, I love it. They have it on their M18 Fan also. Seeing how these devices might be used to keep you comfortable in extreme weather conditions, I consider it a backup, safety feature for when it's really necessary. The temp drops to -20 degrees for 3-4 weeks each winter and I have to thaw out my well water line and shower drain, so yeah, I would put one of these to good use.

Appreciate the comment and feedback brother 👊
I bought one of these for my service truck for winter
From what little research I've done on using propane to heat a garage i guess the O2 level is also important to monitor. Apparently the oxygen level gets hazardously low before carbon monoxide is too high

100% brother
Thanks for powering through the mathematics. First time seeing this, but it does look good. I think I'll have to keep an eye out for it.
Been using these things indoors and doing same day wall repairs like that for years! Crack the windows open and heat the shit out of the room and watch the mud dry before your evry eyes 😎 And you get to be nice and sweaty and feel cool because you just evaded death again lol
For the price and just how quiet it is it is Real Nice Like 👍
Just ordered one, still hard to find in Canada. Kinda excited to try it!
I have the Ryobi, (gen 2) and I think it's 65000btu max. It really dumps the heat, and it features a blower fan just like this Milwaukee, however the heat only seams to blow about 3-4ft out the front of the unit before the hot air arches and climbs. It's been a good source of heat, however I did run into one problem... It says it has an automatic shutoff if you run out of propane. Well one day, I ran out of propane and the dang thing kept running. It didnt shut off until I manual turned it off. Now, I don't know how long it was running like this because I went into the house for a bit. But it filled my garage with the smell of propane and I had to open the garage door to air everything out. Luckily without incident. So I'm not sure if I have a defective unit, or if the auto off takes a bit to react? I'll have to test it out by turning off the valve on the tank. But it does say to never leave the unit unattended. So next time I know my propane is getting low, ill just shut the unit off before I venture away.

From personal experience, propane leaking into the air is surprising difficult to ignite. But definitely don't go around attempting to find out. I'd assume your Ryobi has a thermo gas shut off, similar to a gas clothes dryer. It'll feed gas for a short amount of time to allow it to ignite, if the temp sensor doesn't sense a temp increase inside this time window, it's supposed to cut off the gas supply. Sounds like part of that is malfunctioning and not a difficult fix if it's anything similar to a gas dryer. Best of luck.

@@thooper4380 I agree with your assessment.
2:05 lmao. I like that you caught the mistake about a 100lb tank too
Enjoying my purchase, heats up my shop quickly. Not sure but it looks like your handle is on backwards :)
Gave you a sub from upstate New York. I might by one just have to break away from the yellow cordless tools

Welcome to the channel brother 🙌
That's crazy good for green houses
Perfect to fast warm my garage up then let my 10k electric heater maintain temp :) no waiting 30min to get temp up 😊
My ryobi heater works great🔥 The Milwaukee is probably the same thing since TTI💯

Me too! My Ryobi heater works great. When people say crap about Ryobi and they are Milwaukee users, I inform them that they are both owned by TTI. They are in complete denial, THEN I prove it and they are dumbfounded! It’s REALLY funny!!LOL
Milwaukee Ebike hopefully 🙏, next tool purchase
Now that's some red hot heat
Challenge accepted! Let’s roast some coffee with this bad boy 🤩
The Ridged and Ryobi have the same case, so they are probably the same heater. The Ryobi is $70 less and only 10k btu less. I have both Milwaukee and Ryobi tools, so I would probably buy the Ryobi. The only real reason I can think of going with Milwaukee is if you don't have any Ryobi batteries.
Great video, very well done! Just got one myself, can’t believe how powerful it is…really throws the heat. Just one thing tho…I believe you installed the handle on backwards 😂

Hahaha, wasn't sure when I installed it, but I think it looks like it does on the box 🤣🤷🤷
Hello my friends How about using this unit outdoors, like when working on car outside in the winter. I’m asking bc I work outside often, but never used a heater. Than you
I got the RYOBI version last year, I may look into getting the Milwaukee one soon if it’s already available. Smeeesh that like button. 👀👉🏼 👍🏽

I haven't tried the ryobi or the ryobi heater, but the Ridgid has held up well. Thanks for the comment and SMEEESH Jason!!!
Very nice. Question: Would this keep a 2 car garage warm when the temp is ~ 35? Or, would I need two units? In my scenario, the door would be fully open and the heater would be at the door opening (pointed into the garage.) Thanks for any help.
@ddelv1601

It would heat that space just fine, but all the stuff you don't want to breathe comes out the front with the heat. So all you are doing by keeping it outside the garage is making it much less effective and breathing in more gas. Probably get a catalytic heater if you are considered. They are safer but not completely safe. Ventilation and a CO/gas detector would still be a good call.

Ceiling height is a big factor. I suggest using it to warm up the space and turn it off. With the door wide open you'll lose all your heat. That's my biggest issue with propane heaters. A gas system with exhaust would be ideal.
Would b nice if they made a diesel one also so u have both options
I like it but already got the Ryobi because I couldn't find the Ridgid-just like you said!!

Let's just say it will give you a lot of runtime.💯🤣 hope all is well brother 🙏
Isn’t all propane tanks threaded counter clockwise?
Hopefully it doesn’t leak like the backpack sprayers?
Can you test with the new 6ah Forge battery how long run pls.. thanks
This video didn't teach me any Spanish and that ain't real nass like. It did teach me I need oxygen in my face. And that is real nass like.

You must have oxygen in the face. If not, it will be no auga
I want to buy this just to toast some marshmallows..
Whoops! Clint’s only good for one Einsteining per video. But dang, that heater is definitely nass like.
1st! (Damn...2 others beat me to it. 3rd!) I've got that same heater from Rigid. It works very much the same. I got mine from Tools Direct for a fraction of the price (less than $100). So my Rigid is very Nass Like!
a different brand states to turn off the unit, turn off the propane and let the unit cool before turning off the fan.
At that price they're thinking this will be a Milwaukee billboard heating job sites from coast to coast
3 is a lucky number
Glad you're brain is back after staying away from Vance!

How bout a new forge bat tree?
Heater handle is backwards… or mine is! 🤣
Solid review, but your math is off, by a little bit or by a huge amount. 20lb tank = 4.6galloms 91,500 btu/gal * 4.6gal = 420,900 BTU 420,900 / 70K BTU/hr = 6hr on high 420,900 / 30K BTU/hr = 14hr in low (You were off by 100k BTU/tank) Of course that is assuming you actually get a *20lb fill* on your tank. The pre-filled tanks like Blue Rhino are 14-17lb. 100lb tank = 23 gallons 91,500 btu/gal * 4.6gal = 2,104,500 BTU 2,104,500 BTU / 70k = 30hr on high (you said 17hr) 2,104,500 BTU / 30k = 70hr on low (you said 29hr)
Lmao this is the best torpedo video I ever did saw and I'm so glad I didn't buy that husky bs last winter

Naa, ill stick with my blue flame panel Propane heater. No roar, no need for power at all. If i want a fan to move the air around, ill use a fan. Never a fan of torpedo heaters anyway.
Why does he say milwaukee like that
@ToolReviewZone

Don't even know what you are talking about 🤷
So it’s basically the same as the Dewalt propane heater, just $60 more for only 2k more BTU. Yep, seems like a waste of money to me.
I appreciate the review but I have no need for this device.
