Hi guys the new Makita dhs 680 is similar to the dhs 710 twin battery .The UK version does come with a dust shoot the lever on the guard is shorter than the one you have

I bought the ridgid gen5x kit and the circular saw in that is awesome. I am surprised to hear the blade change is difficult on the milwaukee because on the Ridgid it is easy and the spindle lock is super beefy and their owned by the same parent company. Keep up the good work!

drayne3750 yeah its a little annoying. Ryobi, Rigid/AEG are all owned by Milwaukee. Some tech gets shared, others don't. There are many other example of this ...

javier122598 sorry we're not looking to review it anytime soon, though i do like it. concord carpenter did a very good comparison of circular saws a while back, including the bosch - www.aconcordcarpenter.com/18-volt-cordless-circular-saw-head-to-head.html

Great review. Floor needs a clean. Any idea why all the battery saws are backwards (except for this one)?

Gaf thanks. no not sure why most 6.6" models are left side blades, i like it personally.

Don't get me wrong - I prefer it too, but just find it odd that it's that way with pretty much all the battery saws that I've seen.

I've got an AEG brushless impact driver and brushed hammer drill so interested in the circ saw as well. from what I can see, AEG stuff seems to sit between Milwaukee and royobi in terms of build quality. reflected by the price. suits me.

As a lefty, I love the right sided blade but absolutely hate having saw dust blown all over me... other than that the tool looks pretty awesome.
