    Another great review Daniel, I have the single sheer model on my to buy list. It would be great to see a review on that model for the the Automotive crews out there. I recently brought the M18 Fuel top spec drill after watching your detailed review. It is a dream to use, I'm now converting all my ageing battery tools over to Milwaukee 👍🏻. Looking forward to the next review whatever in the range it might be ?

    I don't have any real use for one on a regular basis, but I would definitely consider the Milwaukee if the need did arise. I'm very impressed on how effortlessly it was able to cleanly cut the various gauges and materials. Thanks for another very informative review and demonstration.

    Emin HVAC Thanks Emin! Keep in mind that this model (2635) is the double cut 18ga version....you would probably like the 2637 a lot more (single cut 18 ga....easier for turns/holes/non-flat surfaces)....be sure to check the 3 different types online before you order. They are 2635, 2636, & 2637.

    There's an industry out there that would love this. The Sheetmetal workers. I've used the old electric Milwaukee electric shear for cutting out the side panel on furnaces for installing filter/cold air drops. The M18 appears to have the same if not more power than the electric without having to fight the electrical cord!!!! Awesome video and as always great presentation!!!!!!

    interested in this too, but would like to know how noisy is this compared to a cutoff wheel on an angle grinder? i use cutoff wheels all the time but the noise is getting to me even with ear plugs. also how much metal can you cut on one battery?

  • @RealToolReviews

    @RealToolReviews

    9 жыл бұрын

    bondophobic WAY quieter.....I did not do a runtime test on this one since I did not have access to a pile of metal......but they are including a 3.0ah battery & it is not brushless ---- specifically because it is not a high amp-draw design & the battery lasts a very long time.

    Is there a difference in cutting speed between the 18g model & the 14g model? If the 14 gauge cutter cuts at the same speed as the 18 gauge then I would only buy the 14.

  • @RealToolReviews

    @RealToolReviews

    8 жыл бұрын

    +Slightapex I have not used the 14ga, but I agree.....the 14ga single cut shear would be more versatile than this one. As far as I know, the speed of cut is very similar, but the single cut shears can do a much better job at curves/angles VS the double cut working best for straight cuts.

    I have seen people use this tool on job sites before for HVAC work it's good to do straight cuts only it's really tuff to do circle cuts and plunge cuts every time someone shows up with one of these they always ask me to use my malco turbo shear attachment 😂😂 for HVAC work not practical in my opinion.

    Samual Krokson I couldnt tell you....I believe that they design these tools around "the average amount of work someone uses in 1 day" (with 2 batteries) & go from there. If they can get the amount of work with a brushed motor & smaller batteries, that is what they do to keep the price as low as possible.
