Not everything needs a reason to exist because something had to exist without reason for the later things to be created for some reason a really old explosion started that kept expanding faster and faster and is still increasing in speed that set in motion what is known as our reality where anything can happen and no one know what if sci fi level tech exists out there just somewhere else what if magic exists but just not here what if dragons and all these mythical creatures do actually exist what if all the things humans have said to exist they have a 1/infinity chance of existing which means they do it might just be really far away because something that's infinitely expanding and growing can have everything in it and maybe another universe or even dimension has different laws of physics where different life exists maybe people dont need to eat in one of those said dimensions anything can happen even we in our life could possibly reach those things out there if we all try to help and develop technology greater than today in future years maybe just maybe everyone's dreams can come true no matter how wild at all a kid wants to have super powers then alright if you make something that gives you the ability to fly then do it its not impossible because it hasn't been proven false nothings been proven false the only things that are proven false are nothing because in another dimension or universe there could be super powers or you could create technology to do that here all humans need to do to unlock all their dreams is to develop more advanced technology and the only reason we haven't is because people with the truly bright and creative minds are starving are barley being able to get by they need our help the human race needs our help to save it we can create anything if we put our minds to it but the sad thing is almost everyone doesnt have this mindset which if they did we would have technology from at least 50 years in the future in a week from now if we all thought like this and the corruption of capitalism faded and we all had the supplies to invent and create we would be evolved.

I think you are correct. The good thing about any star clusters being “yeeted off into deep space amid this collision” is that it will happen so slowly, in terms of time relevant to any form of life that may be affected by it, that it will be inconsequential.

I like how triangulum is just chilling watching 2 big galaxies colliding
props to the camera man who recorded this for billions of years
Why does this feels so romantic? 🥺
The crazy thing is that it won't take THAT long. For every inch of movement toward the galaxies in question, the speed at which they will collide increases exponentially. When there are super massive gravity wells, such as galaxies, the rate at which they are attracted to each other is only inhibited by the next closest galaxy, depending on it's position. It is just as likely that, with how galaxies work, that they will never collide, though they may get disconcertingly close, in relation to other galaxies and nebulae that are within a "push-pull" distance. It could also be that they act like electrons in an atom, never getting too close, but eventually hopping over to another system to maintain balance within that system, aka valence electrons. Too many possibilities exist for this to be a definite.
Andromeda: Hey Milky! Here I come! Milky Way: Yeah! Let's do this! Triangulum: This is gonna be good. *4 billion years later* Milky Way: This is so fun! Andromeda: Yup! WAHOO! *When they finally become one* Milkdromeda: That was amazing.
