What do you do with pets when/if you have to go overseas?

Thank you for your quick response, my son is in the army. It is hard as a parent not knowing where your offspring are. I miss him terribly! He is in California, Ft. Irwin, we havent heard from him for a month.

I completed EFMB in the early 90's and yes, most people failed the written test.

The nremt portion, no but the whiskey phase where you learn about army medicine, yes, that’s about 8 weeks I believe

I am very curious, is this active duty for you? I currently have a dependent but want to go off into the army. If yo😢u aren’t married, are you able to have your child with you as a dependent after the basic training is over? I thought about going into healthcare in the army

Unfortunately unless youre married, you'd have to sign over your child to join.

I had the same problem trying to go active.. you need a family care plan for your kid ... But You can go reserves with no issues . Only during your reserves training you'd have to leave your kid with a guardian for a couple weeks.
