Re Stinger: Okay so youre out scouting around. You think theres danger up ahead so you get out and send your stinger up ahead to scout. It gets blown up. ... Now what? The vehicle you need to get away from there has just blown up and now the enemy knows theres three chumps walking around with no vehicle somewhere in the immidiate area.

You gotta be kidding me with the inflatable decoys costing over a$100,000 dollars each?

With war like that you better start raising millions of new enemies.

Drones could easily be countered by portable tripod mounted shotguns using AI targeting algorithm's. Stinger light armored vehicles could only be effective subject to remote control if enemy AI was unable to interdict or subvert requisite telemetry.

You know what the problem of any reconascence drone is? It is its price tag, related to a single-use. It is as good as the first enemy combatant sees it. Then - ups, the drone is gone.

Agreed. It may prevent death..but at the very least the hands would be blown off since they were entirely unprotected. Id rather send in a small remote controlled robot to investigate.
