In this Educational video, I will teach you about Salutes, especially from the US Army, British Army, and more. In the United States the Military is ordered by the President of the United States, Donald Trump. If Joe Biden Wins, the 2020 Election, he will be the Commander in Chief of the United States Military. Currently Boris Johnson is the leader of the British Armed Forces. Queen Elizabeth II is also in charge.

About the polish salute, there is one more rule to obey. You don't salute if you don't have a hat, in that case you just stand straight
Polish salute is said to come from Napoleonic Wars, when one soldier tried to pass the report during battle but was grievously injured, including being shot in right hand. He managed to pass the message to his superiors, salute with three fingers left in his hand and die. To commemorate his deed, new salute was ordered to Polish army. And it stayed that way.

He's lost three fingers and salutes with two
thanks i was just wondering the correct style
Nicely done!
Thank you! I've always had a vague idea that there are different types but never knew exactly if I was doing the right one, this helps a lot.
Cmon, we all know you have a canon to fire and a airplane to fly overhead in that room
Great video, very informative. Keep up the good work!
In Poland you don't salute without the cap.
The americans salute the german way as Steuben, as he reorganized the American troops, introduced the prussian way of saluting
Great video! I was explaining the Roman salute to my wife earlier today while discussing things that were tarnished by that "certain man in the 1930s and 40s." We used to use the Roman salute here in the US while giving the pledge of allegiance in school, but that stopped as soon as we saw that awful fellow and the hell he brought to this world.

Thanks! When I was researching I saw that it mentioned the school saluting but I didn't include it. Still pretty interesting how some places use it around the world even after its reputation has been tarnished.
Canada salutes in the US fashion since 1968. Aka naval salute (UK).
The Australian Regular Army and Royal Australian Air Force actually utilise the British style of salute with an outward facing palm. The Royal Australian Navy has a salute more reminiscent of the American style that you explain in the video.
I salute you for this video. Good job soldier!
Outstanding presentation
You are doin good brother. Thank you for the info.
Canada is palms down
Good content
Also the two fingers in the Polish salute represent Honor and Fatherland
Nice video thanks 👍
Thank you! I haven't understood everything but that was interesting!!!
Great video 👍

Being Syrian. Kind of Disappointed that my country uses THAT salute. I know it’s the roman salute but it has a very bad reputation because of Mustache man.

Yeah he stole different things from different cultures such as the Nazi symbol was originally from Buddhist religion, symbolizing the sun. But of course anything associated with hitler now is tainted, including his facial hair style!

Especially pro-Assad forces (who themselves don’t have a good reputation) doing *that* salute - kind of doubly reinforces not-good people doing the not-good salute. Double-whammy 😕
Very awesome!! you da man.
Can you make a video on latin american nations that use the roman salute and how they got it
You look exactly how I would imagine a NAFO fella to look like lmao
Keep up your good work on your KZread channel

Great job. Your information is correct about Mexico. The military salute is like the US, the civilians salute like you depicted in the viedo. Thanks.
Very cool. I miss when they used to salute me.

Just letting you know that the Australian Defense Force uses the British Salute, but our Navy does the palm down. We do not use an American salute simply because we are apart of the commonwealth. As for Canada I am unsure.
I've seen enough historical channels that tild me that the origin of the roman salute was actually created by a medieval artist painting that caught up and became sort of "common knowledge", and if we travel in time and perform it, the Romans will be wondering from which land we came, Mosollini wasn't a great history student 😂 Well.. Over all... A good video that attempted to answer my question, good luck and have a great time.

Its not a medieval painting but a classic- modern one, The serment of Horaces by Delacroix around 1780.
He forgot the salute in AOT
Australia and New Zealand use the British style salute (palm facing forward). But the navy uses the US style. Go figure. 🙂

US style == UK Naval Salute - so all is OK in UK fashion.
Does anyone know the origin or meaning of the Russian and Ukrainian ceremonial salute. The solider salutes then slowly turns his head and seems to look skyward as the dignitary walks past
We salute the rank, not the man ( Band of brothers )
I feel like this is a copy of a very similar video... but still cool.

Who did I copy? I completely researched, made, and edited this video.
I do not understand why in the United States a president in civilian clothes always salutes the truth to my own head. Which is nonsense to me. Nowhere have I noticed such behavior only in the USA. My brother served in the army, and whenever he sees it, it irritates him a lot. After all, if someone salutes to something on the hat and wearing a uniform, there is an eagle on the cap, so the soldiers salute pointing with their fingers at this symbol.
dam boi that neck thicc
As an Englishman I always thought we did the right salute and the yanks just looked like fools in theirs like trying to see something far away
Great 👍🏽
Why you did not mention, in your nice video, the military salute in Russia and in China? Regards From Roma Italia
Do Germany 1944 salute
How the fuck do you know the polish salute
