"Gettysburg" the site of major opportunity for "Confederate States of America" to decisively defeated the "Union"; thus forcing the North to negotiate peace with General Robert E. Lee and end the Civil War. It didn't happen!
This scale military diorama is a collection of today's best toy soldiers from Britains, King & Country, Collector Showcase and Kronprinz.
Yeah, these aren't the same plastic soldiers you grew up with from airfix or marx. They're museum quality metal figures in 1/32 and 1/30 figures and that even today's modelers could appreciate. Okay, okay there still kind of like toys for overage kids but they are cool aren't they?

I have been involved in Civil War Dioramas since 1994. This is truly one of the best I have ever seen.

That's the coolest thing I've ever seen
Excellent diorama. I too like making battlefield dioramas from various wars. I really enjoyed the various displays involved during the battle of Gettysburg. One slight criticism... make the uniforms more realistic by dirtying them up some. Even the Generals and high command was dusty after riding. During battle, dirt and blood stains would be on every soldier on the line. But I understand these figures come factory painted cleaned of any dirt. But it adds realism to the figures and battle. Overall it was a great video.

The residential building is by " First Legion " and the barn from "Hudson and Allen" and can found on William Britains site

Try going to diorama depot dot com or Build A Rama dot com. That's where I get lots of my stuff.
