Singing songs like these takes skill! She should make an album of songs in this genre. Her harmonies, her tone, everything was spot on.

Yes, I have ALWAYS KNOWN that Miley has the gift to sing ANYTHING. I was never a Disney fan of hers but, did take my niece, who adored her, to the Houston Astrodome to see Miley in concert at the Houston Rodeo. And, I have seen Miley and my niece evolve into 2 beautiful, talented young ladies! I am very proud of them both.😊

I love her outfit, her voice, her emotion, her humility, everything!!! Amazing performance!!!

"Low" is relative. I'm guessing that she was singing a third or fourth below Middle C (so an A or G). Yes, she was absolutely at the bottom of her personal range, but that's the same "bottom note" that most child singers have.

I teach voice daily...and I've been teaching voice for 40 years...and singing lower than that is not unusual for a woman. That F is bottom of the range for many--but not every--sopranos...but mezzos and contraltos easily sing lower than that. My take: Miley is a soprano. Nothing mysterious about it. But rare for a woman...not hardly. Just sopranos. As far as belting, that is an entirely different technique that relies completely on overtone singing when done correctly.

I’m just gonna say it, in my opinion this woman is the most talented artist of her generation. Taylor may be a better hit maker/song writer but there is no genre this woman can’t absolutely kill.

So Brother Where Art Thou is one of my favorite movies of all time and this is one of my favorite songs of all time. Miley absolutely crushed it and came up with a very unique version that I just love. I think it is the best version I have heard yet. Miley can sing anything and has more range and tone than anyone I know. She is incredible. I just wish I found this video years ago.

I really, REALLY love her voice. It's so textured, versatile, and raw. She knows how to make the most of it for maximum effect. I really think she has the most distinctive voice of her generation.

when she stopped being Hanna Montana I was excited that she would become an adult artist, but then she went in some directions that were disappointing to me, This and some other things she has donr however tell me that what I saw in her and was excited about was totally accurate.
