They only help us grow, our mistakes. If we actually realize them, learn from them and make that adjustment in our lives. She is so blessed to have been surrounded by so much talent growing up. She's saying that those two could go lengths and live a beautiful life but he was just too messed up to have healthy emotional connection with anyone. And this is my situation too. Him and I could be very happy together but he's afraid of connecting to anyone on deeper level. At first, I thought something's wrong with me. But now I see he behaves this way with every woman. He's not even close to his family.
