Mikey is the epitome of a world class athlete, super nice kid and has the energy of a youngster. What people may not realize is that the Peter Parker of BJJ can snap limbs at a moment's notice. Not too long ago, a Mongolian opponent refused to tap. Mikey begged him, but to his credit the guy was insanely tough. Unfortunately, he ended up with a complete knee decimation and femur break. As most of you have so accurately stated...how can u not love Mikey?

Because he hasn't broken anyone's femur. It's exceptionally rare in combat sports because of the amount of force needed to break it. When you do see a femur break, it's often the result of a high speed collision.

Have you watched his fights? He’s the most boring fighter on the planet. If you care about him as a fighter more than him as a KZread personality, or as a person (I don’t mean that as harsh as it sounds for the record), he’s pretty easy to dislike.

I cannot believe that this person is a savage grappler. Even in his matches, aside from twisting his opponents into shapes they should not be twisted into, he's extremely sweet with them. I hope he stays this way. He's a great sportsman.

I’ve been doing the 24 hour fast/one meal for 7 years now. It’s amazing how much energy you have, once you get past the first couple weeks on your body readjusting from having been so used to be over-fed.

I am trying to gain weight -- is this a bad idea to try this fasting style? Wasn't sure it's perhaps better if you're trying to lose weight. I work out in the gym but nothing crazy. Just don't want to do this fasting then never be able to gain weight. Lol

Its not 7000. He said once that he calculated one of his meals once and it was 7000 but i think he calculated all the oil that he used (but not consumed all) also. or he calculated wrong for any other reason. His meals per day are by far not 7000

I want some of those pesto noodles! In the summer, we grow basil at my house, but rn I only have powdered, which i've made pesto with before and... well... it was edible. Anyway, literlaly jsut tried that second recipe, it was really good, i also love the healthy fats that olive oil provide, and garlic is a fave too :) THANKS FOR THE RECIPE MIKEY

Not to be a hater but that’s not even close to 7k calories. Both of those dishes together are max 2-3k calories.

The olive oil alone is around 2000 calories in his second video (assuming he uses 500ml). Then the pasta would be about 2000 more from the pasta (in the second recipie) and maybe 1 thousand for the rest. So i would say in his second recipie, about 5000 calories. But i am assuming they counted both meals, in which it would be close to 7000 calories.

Little aggressive on the 7k calorie calculation friends. Not to mention he supposedly does this everyday. So he consumes almost 50,000 calories a week. Makes complete and total sense for a 140 lbs man. If only he only ate 1k more he would look like Brian Shaw and be the worlds strongest man!

@@aesop2733 he was on JRE and said that he has tried many diet models and almost developed an eating disorder. His chef said the same thing under the video that MPMD did a year ago. Apparently this is the best diet model that works for him so I don't see why he would need to change it, especially since it took multiple trial and errors.

I don’t even need to open Pandora’s box regarding protein because he would inevitably stronger and have better recovery. But hey to each their own.

@@kujaa1831 That's not how this works at all. I could never eat like this but this dude's nutrition is working for him, not against him. He's shredded to the bone, all muscle, and one of the best grapplers in the world at a very young age.

I love pasta, because its the only thing I can cook without mum but I love this, I 100% have to try the second recipe that looks unreal.

7000 calories, seriously? I don't think most people understand how MASSSSIVE that is in volume. Avg grown man eats 2500 a DAY. Visualize a breakfast, lunch, dinner, whatever else u eat AND every drink..... And triple it onto ONE plate. That's what Mike supposedly eats in 1 sitting

He's not training on an empty stomach. He eats so much at once that he's still digesting his pasta from the previous night. On top of that, his glycogen stores are completely topped off and can last him the day, until he gets to his next meal.

How silly of you to think your body randomly fully empties itself overnight when sleeping. Try it and eat a massive meal before bed, you won't be feeling hungry till next evening.

It becomes normal if you do it for a while. Your body adapts and uses your fat reserves for energy. You're not as explosive as you could be by eating between workouts but you also won't have phases of low energy, it's a constant stream of energy you'll feel.
