Sober 4 years here. You can do this, Solitude can be a good thing. If I can quit heroin you can quit your drug of choice. I had to cut all my friends off because they were just leeches feeding off my soul. Misery loves company. No one forced you to be sover, which I think is the most important. You got this internet homie

college, left all alone to study for my re-sit exam in december because i'm the only one who hit the penalty credit, still progressing with my mates but with an extra bullet to carry forward. Life doesn't stop just so i would pick up myself from all the negativity pitching in my head. Friends are really great but this battle left is all for me to fight alone, it ain't easy getting outta bed every morning (and tbh i dont wana be outa the bed) knowing a huge obstacle is always there waiting for me to conquer. knowing failing (the paper) will be surely seperating me from the rest to graduate together. Seemed like i had no choice, bucked up took a better view of the situation and it turned out to be a opportunity for me to become strong to continue living in this world apart from being the (old mediocre me), took the chance and i'll be back here for the update.

These lines are basically exactly the same as what the Tao Te Ching or Daodejing says in Chapter 48: He who devotes himself to learning (seeks) from day to day to increase (his knowledge); he who devotes himself to the Dao (seeks) from day to day to diminish (his doing). A Daoist genuine pretending approach to life, maintain sanity in this crazy world. Too many distractions, too much stuff going on, super accelerated. Slow it down.

FINALLY!!!!!! THANK YOU MIKE!!! back in '05 i created a beat with that same melody and asked hundreds of people who sadly couldn't tell me if they ever heard it anywhere. I know i wasn't crazy cause I heard the melody when I was 6 or something. Your song led me to do some research and Lo and behold, the sample source is from the 1983 movie soundtrack "Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence". I finally found the song that I KNOW I had heard before. A search that took over 15 years has ended today by stumbling into this song, props brah.

As a guy who's gone full circle in terms of faith and trust in that faith, this being one things feels more like a movement. Now my lyrics went from good to ridiculously stupid. I've never felt like a fresher human being. We got to take a step back, stop creating and focus on being the creation. We're just a bunch of incomplete souls convinced that we're always spitting facts. Even if it means just confidently lying through our tear because we come from a place of insecurity.
