Seeing Mike and Tommy play together gives me so much joy! It's just obvious how much they enjoy that...
I've never heard someone emit so much emotion out of the guitar so fluidly like Tommy Emanuel. He's a once-in-a-lifetime talent. :)

This is so true. People are quick to give popular KZread names who do play well but these 2 are on a unique level. It's more than just raw skill. It's musicality too. And then there's getting the crowd going. I've seen plenty of great guitarists that don't even look into the crowd. These guys makes non-guitarists excited even

@@vyvynylificationto be honest with you, i do not give much of a fuck about the crowd. I know i might should but when i'm doing my thing i'm fully submerged into the stuff i'm doing and i lack any capacity to do something else. Due to a disability i had to switch my playing from lefthanded to righthanded and thist fact ate my capacity for other stuff totally. I can't feel fuck all in my right hand, arm, ellbow, to hold the pick i use superglue and glue the thing into place. Works for me and gettin the crowd going i usually leave up to my bandmates. What's being delivered here is almost outerworldy. It is rhytmically, compository and last not least also technically superb, it must be adored and loved. At least i do. Wow, stunning! Amazing! Lovely and he's a gentle, a nice, lovely and mellow Fellow. And Tommy.......also just wow! The two of them teamed up, live on stage, what an event! This is far apart from the fretboardwankingstuff one finds on yt. ❤❤❤ Thank you for doing that!

@tripcave420 it's true Tommy can't sing , neither can Mike. But nobody can do everything. You can draw up a list of every great superstar and none of them can do everything. That's what makes showbusiness what it is. These two happen to be the best of the best when it comes to musicianship and playing guitar.

It's difficult to imagine following on from a performance after *Tommy's* done his set. The only comparable artist I think who has sufficient *chops* and catalogue, is *Martin Taylor.* After that frankly, I'm at a loss. *Tommy* is right at the top of his game imo. 👏👏👏👌

An acoustic guitar, like a human voice, is capable of making sound without being enhanced electronically. Any sound may be enhanced if desired.
Oh the way they complement each, across the continents and the generations. Tommy E is heir to Chet Atkins as Mike D is to Tommy. You must hear Tommy's short Accomplice series, no 3 being with Mike Dawes. Tommy plays vocals and rhythm to Mike's lead and percussion. The last three here are among the five tracks of genius.
