In order to kill the boredom for waiting Attack On Titan season finale I make this compilation scene that shows the development of Mikasa and Levi's relationship. Though I don't find anything special actually in their relationship, lol. Yes in the beginning looks like Mikasa hates Levi so much, but as time gone by she started to respect him more, but *ONLY* as a superior I think. Levi is like an older brother/father figure. He cares for everyone, but you can really tell that he cares for Mikasa a lot. He's always got her back and stops her from doing anything rash (most of the time).

I agree with you. He puts more effort to oversee Mikasa, even though he cares for his team equally. I think it's because he knows Mikasa will put herself in danger when something bad is happening to Eren, without any guarantee for an outcome by doing so. He also knows he is the only one who is capable to stop her. Physically. If he wouldn't stop her, no one can. And I think Levi understands her pain when Eren has been separated from her. And he also understands she can't think clearly, so he took the job to protect her and to take care of her, because if he wouldn't anyone will

The way he's around her, calming her. I think Levi really cares about Mikasa because it reminds of him somehow, when he was younger or something. I think he remembers the rage he had when he lost his friends. I don't know how to express myself any better. He's protective with her because he really understand how she feels because they both share this need to protect the others. I really like both of them and they make a pretty good team, maybe the most badass duo in this series.

@breann pham lol I find the whole thing so wholesome. Levi is always there like let all your anger out, I know how it feels. The difference now is that Levi is older and has way more experience. I mean sometimes with all the titans and all the fighting I forgot that Mikasa and the rest are just teens, I mean she is like 15, 16 years old it is normal to be emotional with all these terrible things happening. I could brag about attack on titan all day long because this show is a masterpiece.

@@luiscach4944 Yeah, true. Even during the roof scene where Mikasa hovered over Levi to get the syringe, Levi was very...lenient towards her. He didn't throw her away nor did he punch Mikasa. And right before that scene, Levi punched eren. I think maybe it's because he learnt the truth about his last name so he didn't want to hurt her. Or it could be because he understands well the EMA friendship because Levi was eavesdropping their conversation about the ocean. Whatever the reason is, it just goes to show that Levi is a little more soft towards Mikasa. Soft in his own way.

A personal analysis: I think Mikasa is physically stronger than Levi. But Levi is more agile and has the experience. Like Mikasa in season 4 carrying heavy equipments is an evidence about her incredible strength.

@@sasageyo2286 well, so there's a moment when levi's life is in danger and u can see that mikasa's face is concern for his condition (not only mikasa but all of levi's squad) , and also when they fight together mikasa actually helping levi (levi's not on his top condition so he can't really fight) and listen carefully to his command to hold back even when she really desperate to help armin. For me it really shows that mikasa truly respect and care for him as a superior

I really wished they kept a scene from the manga and put it in season 3. During the Uprising Arc, the new Levi squad was having doubts in Levi and his decision but Mikasa was the one that told them to trust him. I just feel like that scene showed growth on her part but I'm sad they cut it out :(

THESE NEWBIES!!!! Most of you are confused, so let me shed some light. Mikasa and Levi originate from the same clan, and they have the same concept of power, their "awakening" moment. But, they are very different. One: Levi is actually apart of the original family of Ackerman's, he is apart of the newer generation. Mikasa, is apart of the branch. Now, the only difference between the branch and the original is that the branch doesn't hold godlike abilities, because they aren't descended of blood. They are related only by clan. Not only that, but if they were actually related by blood, Mikasa's awakening would have also shown godlike abilities by now. Thus, resulting upon their relation within blood being negative. But, in terms of the Ackerman clan, yes, hence why both possess unique skill. Also, I am aware that this is 3 years ago. But I'm just bored out of my mind so just incase newcomers come by, this is an accurate explanation.

Listen , they' are not relatives , take a look at the interview where Isayama said that Mikasa and Levi are not even 3rd degree cousins . He also has draw a family tree of Ackerman which shows that if they'll be in a relation , it wouldn't be incest . Plus now in the manga Mikasa is 19 and Levi is in his 30's , which is not pedophilia . For those who used to ship rivetra , petra has exactly the same age when they used to ship it . And like she said love regardless age , Levi cares about Mikasa , Isayama himself said that he sees him younger in her , and he cares about her much about the others . And Mikasa cares about Levi , like the scene where she asks about his leg even though it was old injury . and like Isayama said « ship and let the people ship »

lol ackermans were made not born! And there’s no clear explanation how Mika’s father was related to Kenny & Kuchel’s father. Isayama wouldnt confirm anything. But one thing was sure he confirmed, that is, RivaMika is a canon! A CANON! u see, us shippers, are feelings are valid. the author himself wrote the RivaMika in a way that wed feel the chemistry between them. Extreme chemistry!

7:24 Reminds me of the time I went full on road rage 2 years ago and I kept punching this one guy until it looked like he was nearly dead. The reason being was because he said something HELLA AND MAJORLY OFFENSIVE DIRECTLY TO MY FACE, PROCEEDED TO SPIT ON ME & THEN TRIED TO SEXUALLY MOLEST ME. Had my bf not restrained me that day, he would’ve been and I would’ve been arrested and charged. There’s a difference to when I’m angry versus when I’m furious. I can calm myself down but when I’m furious, it’s like watching a scene from Mad Max. I’m like a bull when looking at the color red. All I see is blood red, fire and my target. When my bf saw that I wouldn’t stop, he eventually had to drag me inside the building and call for 3 of his friends to help him restrain me. When they all saw that I was just getting angrier by the second, they eventually had to use alcohol and just shoved it down my throat. It worked and when I woke up, all I saw was my bf’s badly bruised up face. He told me that when they all brought me to my room, I jumped him and started punching him too. At that moment, that was when I knew I needed him. It’s been 2 years and safe to say, I’m pretty good now. But the reason I exploded was because all my life, I was reprimanded for expressing and showing my emotions and feelings by my own parents, especially my father. He sees getting emotional as a sign of weakness and since I’m a woman now, I have to keep my emotions to myself. Um hello? Last time I checked I ain’t no psycho or alien & I’m still human so unless you want me to switch off my humanity, then I think expressing how I feel shouldn’t even be a problem.
