No piece has ever balanced technical ability with feel since classical gas. This man has an absolute astounding ability to not just devolve into shredding, but to build complexity along the building tension in the piece. Furthermore, for the fans of the original he masterfully plays with the expectations you have from the original like a comedian played with the audiences expectations of a punchline. All while busking for a moving audience a maestro in every sense.

I'm watching this from Australia. I'm also 80 years young and hope this music will never die.

Excellent rendition of this song 🎵👏 . He added to a song that's great and made it sound like this .... now the song sounds finished ! Now you can't go back and hear the original version ..lol Great job

@John Kraken ~ yeah it's "well worn" & that's why he smiles b/c not only can any competent "musician" play it but millions of lesser able musicians try.... I'm surprised that this song raised up the way it has b/c in the late 90's you rarely heard anyone playing it & it was old then but it's been resurrected as part of anthology? I've never tried to play it but I like this cat, "Miguel" peace/be safe

@John Kraken ~ EXactly & musical chords are shared by all meaning it's easy to be playing 1 song only to fall into another song that might've shared the style/chords..lol, we used to add the theme "Sesame Street" into the middle of solos in Jazz Lab Concerts..... people would smile but I can't play too much now so I listen much more.... peace

@John Kraken ~ playing a well known tune & doing it well is tough enough, but to mimic their physical styles as well.... lol, "Go for it" or take a look at Stevie Ray Vaughn playing his guitar behind his back or behind his head & still out playing many good players..... but every player, good/bad, has their own stuff that makes them unique ~ that's all I look for nowadays? be safe out there

The fact this genius can recall the fret sequences so accurately and rapidly, and keep tempo, and phrase the music is outstanding.

This guy just took it to a whole new level... super talented😎

Many people won’t know what they are actually watching..... but as a musician I can say.... the amount of talent being displayed here could easily fill colosseums everywhere! @@andreventer7024 Actually the technic Miguel display is nothing out of the ordinary among professionals, what distinguish Miguel is his vast musical vocabulary and the ability to see every chord in any possible inversion. He play both music and guitar at the same time, this is a rarity and I am not joking.

If this guy had been around in the 80s, which was the last decade of good rock, he would be a household name all over the world today. Assuming he lived through it.

Someone record this guy. I would buy his CD. Excellent guitar playing music for driving, or during a nice day off at home . I heard this through my headphones on blue tooth early in the morning over a cup of coffee and enjoyed every moment of his playing. I'm a retired musician myself of percussion . Great job my friend.

Arguably the best Guitar ever performed...ever produced....ever played ....EVER !!!!.....so beyond awesome....the switch between classic Spanish licks....then the constant pitch shift....then the UNBELIEVABLE Rock sound......I cannot get over the awesomeness.

There best young Guitarist of the 20th Century and creativity off these charts! This young man is amazing and so composed when he plays! Pure 🎶 and artistic.

Sultans is one of my top favorites. This dude rips, but I wouldn’t play this song any other way than how knopfler plays it. It’s so good. That being said, nice work here!
