Being a delivery driver in the midwest is a little different for Charlie Berens. Charlie's midwest charm comes out when he's delivering food, fixing customers squeaky doors with WD-40 or throwing in his Nana's Cranberry sauce recipe, all while making sure to watch out for deer. Make sure to tip your driver and he might even throw in a casserole!

Everytime I go to give my neighbors some corn and beans from the garden, they hand me a pound of beef and then I take our eggs to another neighbor and I get a bag of apples from their orchard. I come home with more food than I left with and I just wanted to clean out my fridge a bit. And of course it took all day because porch talk isn't just for pleasantries, it's a fact of life.

@@jammy7915 Lol okay. Maybe there's a local charity food pantry that would drive over and take the apples off your hands? Where I live in Canada, a charity takes the bruised moldy and/or cracked open old produce from the produce department at the local grocery store. It's not even the slightly beat up or old fruits and veggies because the grocery store sells those at a discount. The chairty takes the old inedible or nearly inedible produce to use to make stews or pies for the poor, as pet food for various animals or as compost
