This was Sauron without the one ring, with Celebrimbor possessing both the Light of Galadriel and a Ring of Power containing his will and essence. It all made sense as well, Celebrimbor was touched by Sauron's shadow, he is a wight with a dark desire to dominate the living. Not seeking to destroy Sauron, but instead to usurp him. In the first game, the Black Hand of Sauron's ritual was intended to dominate Celebrimbor and merge his might with the weakened spirit of Sauron. This time around, Celebrimbor intended to be the one holding the reins. It was a nice detail that Sauron learned an important lesson from Isildur. :>

  • @CheekiCheeki

    3 жыл бұрын

@@adzxyz1950 As I understand it, upon death the souls of elves, dwarves and men are summoned to the Halls of Mandos, which is located in the land of the "gods", Valinor. Elves get to be reincarnated back into the world after they have spent enough time in the halls to atone for their sins (only a single elf has never been allowed to reincarnate), but may choose to stay in the halls if they wish. Dwarves and men wait in the halls until the end of the world (though I'm not sure whether or not Men actually stay there for that long, because I recall Tolkien also saying that they pass through the Halls to their final reward after some time spent there). So dwarves are not reincarnated, but will help rebuild the world after the final battle against Melkor (basically Satan). Men's fate is unknown, but the creator of the world, Iluvatar, has a special gift in store for them, which is their prize for living short, mortal lives. So we do know about the human afterlife. We can see Talion wake up on Valinor itself, instead of the Halls of Mandos, which would actually mean he isn't reunited with his family, not before he dies of old age and goes to the Halls. It is incredibly rare for anyone but the elves and "gods" to be allowed to roam Valinor, but Talion was given this reward for his struggle, in the same way Frodo was. Keep in mind that the game doesn't really follow the lore all that faithfully. Talion being a Nazgûl is impossible, for example

@@bloodangel19 Celembrimbor can not dominate sauron with or without talion no matter what. Sauron (Mairon) is a Maiar and Morgoth is the one who can manipulate him in any was. With the exception of course of other Valar Beings maybe but still not quite. Celembrimbor thinking he can dominate sauron even at a state where he is at his weakest isn't a very clever decision especially since it is said that even after the banishment of morgoth his shadow and corruption still stayed in Arda. And Talion would SURELY object to Celembrimbor's plan of domination and he would try to banish Sauron given the chance if anything. The only possible way to defeat sauron is to destroy the ring since inside it he has poored " his cruelty, his malice and his will to dominate all life" Which means that if the ring is not destroyed there is absolutely nothing in the world that can dominate Sauron without dominating his ring first which would be a bad choice since it's pretty much cursed and getting it will just result in Sauron retrieving it. So it's a dead end. But Celembrimbor's greed and lust for power made him blind to that

It apparently it’s OP). I can see how he was beatable. However, Shelob Saw that Talion beat him with only the ring. I think that alone just goes to show how capable Talion is and how Strong Sauron is. Imagine if Sauron had the ring, it wouldn’t even be close. Cool idea but kind of a slap to players face with talion, as it wouldnt fit his character. More like celebrimbor & eltatiel doing that, fighting nazguls including talion, and then slaving sauron and attacking middle earth, but it would be very hard because all orcs would be on their side, they should basically include mens elves' and dwarves fortresses in the game which would take like same time to do as gta 6

Alone the idea that and elf could subdue a Maia to its will is ridiculous. Yes there have been many powerful elf lords in history, some of which were only of slightly lesser stature and battle power than some Maia, but none of the children of Illuvatar were powerful enough in spirit to take on an Ainur mentally, so its not surprising that Sauron snapped out of it in an instant.

Everyone who points out how Sauron said he serves no one when he once served Morgoth would do well to remember this. When Morgoth was banished to the Void, it was stated that Sauron VERY SERIOUSLY considered repenting of his deeds, and ultimately chose otherwise out of fear that he would be made another's servant to do labors of penance. And Sauron himself was corrupted by the "bonds" Morgoth laid upon him, i.e., poisoning Sauron's fea (basically angelic soul) with his own essence. Although Morgoth himself was thrown out to wander the void of space forever (and yes, the Void is literally outer space), those bonds still remained. However, Morgoth could no longer command Sauron directly, and so he essentially "marred" his greatest servant the same way he marred Arda. Whether or not he's there to influence things directly, all that he touched is fucked regardless. So while Sauron is technically out for himself, at the same time he's essentially become a shadow of Morgoth, his soul continuing to fester from the corruption until he's just a reflection of Morgoth himself, which is exactly what that raging narcissist of a Satan expy always wanted for all of existence anyway.

Then imagine Harry, covered in liters of blood as he stealth kills Slytherins with his wand in the hallways of the castle, or using the Gryfendor blade to hack through them in the great hall. Now that you've imagined it, you should probably notice that it would be a pretty messed up game, besides just being pure blasphamy.

A better question is: What other game or scenario would benefit and be improved by something like the nemesis system? Talion's journey is over but what's to say this mechanic cant be used and reworked for another adventure and context?

Anyone else thought a better ending would have been if Talion's family was waiting for him on the other side?

@@utahwerewolf9932 There should be nothing uncanny about Annatar. If there was even the slightest thing off I don’t think the Elves would be so thoroughly taken in.

Vaping Dragon Well if you think whining like a bitch is gonna change anything then you're gravely mistaken, you don't have to buy the game if you don't want to, that's you're problem

Someone please tell me how it's pay to win?? I'm no loot boxes fan either but it's a single player game so it's definitely not pay to win.
