I’m a fan of the mid century modern stuff, that’s what I have really gotten into making. I’m a fan of Foureyes Furniture as well, you do a good job to fit yourself into that category and I enjoy the pieces as well as the videos.

Thanks Travis!
Great job. If I actually needed a desk for myself I’d have built something that I hope would resemble something like this. But instead I’ve gone off the deep end with epoxy and ocean themes... yours is way classier for sure!

I'm sure yours will look amazing too. I am interested in the epoxy theme!
My desk situation does not look anything like that! 😂 Great work. Could you do more projects with less expensive or even hand tools only? I'd love to be able to follow your lead but I can't afford my own shop right now.

That my be something that I could do on the horizon. I'm not sure where you live, but an option that I used right when I was getting started are shared shop spaces that rent out the big tools for a fee. Might be something to look into if you have a specific project in mind.

@@MollyWollyWoodworking ah that's not something I've considered. I'm sure its available. I'll look into it thanks!!
Looks great where are you getting your hardwood from?

Great video and nice work but pleaaaase watch out with the table saw buddy, your hand was wayyy to close to that saw! Maybe use a pushing tool that is replacable instead of your precious hands. Keep up the great work tho!

I use a gripppper when I'm feeling like I'm really close to the blade, but on the larger rip cuts at 5-8" my hand stays a good distance away. And the luxury of owning a sawstop means that in the small chance that something happens, that bad boy will shut off in 5 milliseconds.
What material do you use for the dominoes?

They’re made from beech wood, and made by Festool. Although I have seen guys make their own out of different scrap wood.
You must have a lot of money because walnut is out of reach price wise for all but those with a lot of spare cash!
