Mid-Century Modern TV Stand // DIY Woodworking

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Here is how to make a Mid-Century Modern Media Console. I made this TV console out of mostly 3/4” walnut-veneer plywood. Follow along step by step as I go through the build process.

    What is the overall cost with hardware, veneer plywood, hardwood? Where did you purchase veneered plywood (or did you make)? Did you use purchased plans?

  • @RobertJKeller

    @RobertJKeller

    4 жыл бұрын

    I would guess the total cost was about $350 USD. That's a very rough guess. I bought the walnut veneer online and had it shipped to store. I did not use plans... I had a rough design in my head and kind of refined it as I went.

    They came in 2-foot wide by 8-foot long sheets. Ended up using 3 of the 3/4" and 1 of the 1/4" I think.

    Find out where your local cabinet shops order their plywood, you probably have a plywood/hardwood dealer in your area. Most don't have good web presence but do carry a huge selection of plywoods.
