Thanks for growing with us!

I could not agree more!! I often take screen shots of plants I might want to add to my garden and I sometimes forget to add the names in the caption. That is never a problem on the Grow for Me channel and I find I take lots of screen shots here because they showcase so many beautiful plants! 💚

@10:00 Grass growing underneath the fence... We make clay bricks (we have red clay about 8 inches down) and fill the holes to the top of the fence. The are porous so they drain and don't hurt the fence. We also put flashing about 18 inches vertically so critters don't dig underneath and go into the orchard, market, veg and potager gardens. So, you do what I do... yeah!

Im always in awe of how quickly my gardens change. This time of year its daily. Im also in 5b/6a coastal southern maine..winter was really odd this year. I have a celery plant that overwintered! My fall mums from my favorite nursery overwintered. I seem to have lost a few echinacea .. which is weird.. although they could still come up.. lost a wigelia, a baptista and pretty sure my butterfly bush is dead. I always loose a few.. but these few suprised me. Oh I also FINALLY overwintered heather! One of my favorites that I usually by as an annual.. they just dont like our winter. I have a bunch of columbine that has spread, my Mondara is growing like gang busters.. I was actually pulling creeping Jenny and didn’t recognize the mondara in places I found it coming up.. so exciting!! I may have even pulled some with the creeping Jenny (DONT plant this 😂) Hummingbirds love it! Your gardens are stunning! I just love everything about them! It will be fun to see how your garden progresses! I am not proud of my answer to the question of the day; grass under your fence; it was a combination of a trimmer and round up. I would kill an area ( slim strip) under the fence. This was in Illinois. I now live in NY where we only have decorative fence ( very little amount of fencing) and invisible mot necessary.
